  • How far along are you? 10 weeks 5 days
How are your symptoms? Nothing too severe, well, besides not being able to recall the last time I pooped....

Rants/Raves? Rant - Right now my dog is driving me up the damn wall! I am sitting on the couch trying to relax - he keeps sitting right at my feet and is steady staring at me. He can be such a creep sometimes! Rave - no work until Monday, wa-hoo!!!!

Upcoming appointments? Monday is our 2nd OB appointment. They did an U/S at our 1st appointment a month ago, and while he got a shot of the LO, since I was only 6 weeks there was not much to see. But this appointment I fully expect to be able to see all sorts of movements....cannot.fucking.wait!!!

Any major milestones or major events? We are telling our extended family tomorrow at Thanksgiving! Tomorrow marks the beginning of the whole world knowing....not sure how I feel about that. I am not much of a "small talk" person, so I am dreading answering the same questions day after day. But on the other hand, I do not see how I could ever be sick of talking about the LO!

GTKY: What's your favorite dish at a holiday meal? My Moms homemade sausage stuffing! I am a major foodie, and this is literally my favorite food, I look forward to it all year!!! BUT! We are going to DWs family for dinner....so I will be missing out. DW knows how much I love her at my ultimate sacrifice :)

    Happy Turkey Day!
    12 wks and a day
Symptoms aren't bad- mild nausea and still pretty tired
Rants/raves- still pretty pissed that my mom told everyone I know about the pregnancy against my wishes (seems like I'd get to do that...)
Major milestones- every day I'm pregnant and have lots of platelets is major milestone. FX!
No upcoming appointments other than monthly check up mid December
GTKY- I love turkey-dressing-mashed potatoes-gravy all as one bite so it's my favorite Thanksgiving food lol. I also love green beans and chess pie for dessert. Sadly, my Thanksgiving will consist of jambalaya and pound cake at MIL- not a bad meal but not nearly as delicious!

    ETA: Can't spell
  • Everything is going well. I love all thanksgiving food. It's one of my favorite holidays. Turkey, potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls, cranberry sauce, dressing! Yum!!

  • Hello! I'm high risk because I'm expecting mo/di twins. This is my 4th pregnancy and so far loosing weigh. I will have my next dr app on dicember 19 just a week before my 16 week mark. Need to keep a good eye since tranfucion syndrome occurs very often in this type of pregancy. Hope to read all stories from ladies here. Good luck to all. :x
  • Hi this is my first pregnancy, EDD 6/17/15, I am high risk for chronic low blood platelets ITP!

My symptoms have gotten better the past couple of weeks, naseua, dizziness have eased off. Still have constipation & by the end of the day my belly is twice the size as when I wake up & very hard!

I just had my first high risk appointment this week & learned a lot about my risks. I am being tested to see if I have the antibody because if I do there is a risk the baby can have ITP which would cause extra concerns during delivery! All of this information is a little overwhelming for a FTM but staying positive!

I love all thanksgiving food but especially enjoy sweet potato casserole & pecan pie!
  • How far along are you? 11 weeks 4 days
How are your symptoms? Pretty much gone
Rants/Raves?I tripped over a baby gate and my entire body weight fell on my left thigh, it still hurts some but the ob wanted me to get checked out so I got to see my booger quickly since they couldn't find the heartbeat on the doppler.
Upcoming appointments? Just my u/s on the 8th
Any major milestones or major events?nope
GTKY: What's your favorite dish at a holiday meal? Stuffing and mashed potatoes unfortunately with gd I had to majorly limit them.

How are your symptoms? Starting to get some headaches and congestion
Rants/Raves? I'm currently stressing a little over Godparents...my mom is pretty opinionated on the subject and it's already come up more than once...
Upcoming appointments? Just had an ob appt this past Wednesday so got a few weeks until our next one.
Any major milestones or major events? All preliminary results from our NT scan and genetic screening looked good, so that was a relief. Also heard the heartbeat for the first time this past Wednesday...we'd seen it a bunch, but hearing it was nice
GTKY: What's your favorite dish at a holiday meal? I love all the sides...broccoli, sweet potatoes, carrots...
  • @ChelseyM88‌ Hello fellow ITP mama! FX for lots of platelets (or no relapse if you are in remission) during your pregnancy!

  • Hi all! After my appointment last week--it looks like I will be (forever) considered high risk because of my Graves Disease and RAI treatment. EED: 6-8-15. First pregnancy!

How far along are you? 13 weeks today!

How are your symptoms? Better. Most nausea has gone away, still a bit tired and getting that weird metallicy taste in my mouth.
Rants/Raves? My body is just getting so...gross. I'm getting large kind of...everywhere and I'm not used to that. Sigh...I know it's vain, but it's the truth. And I want my libido back, poor DH.
    Upcoming appointments? Next week--Regular OB.
Any major milestones or major events? Well, DH and I just booked our week-long vacation to Phoenix before my sales meeting--so we're excited to do that, see the Grand Canyon and hang out with family.
GTKY: What's your favorite dish at a holiday meal? Potato-anything. Sweet, mashed, scalloped, whatever. Love it. I also love me some traditional pumpkin pie.

  • Had my first MFM appointment today. It was rough. There is already a 50% chance of having another baby with the genetic condition my DD has. Plus I'm at risk to have another baby with a heart problem because I have already had 1 that had one. Plus my bicournate uterus puts me in a higher risk and having had a preterm baby. With my first pregnancy I had every complication in the book except placenta abruption. My MFM actually told me, given that this was unplanned and I had a "deer in the headlights look" that if I felt trapped or didn't want to continue she wouldn't judge me and would help me. She said no one would blame you, you already have one DD who has a lot of needs/concerns. I don't want you to feel trapped. I can't lie and say that when I say the BFP this thought didn't cross my mind. I just want to do what is best for my family. I talked to DH and we have decided that we want this child very much. But my OB has agreed to tie my tubes after this one.
Sorry I know I'm rambling now it was just a lot to take in one appointment.

  • Hi girls.. late to join the party...been over on the May 15 board because that's when I will deliver, but some of the ladies there aren't so accepting of the fact that my actual due date is begining of June, so I have decided to come back over here!

I am high risk because of mo-di twins.  Thought they were mo-mo, but finally found a membrane! This is my 1st pregnancy and I am due June 7th!

How far along are you? I am 13 2/7 today!

How are your symptoms? starting to get better? I think...who knows...every time i feel better the nausea comes back!!

Rants/Raves? Ready to feel better consistently...and get my life figured out...lots of questions of where we are going to be next year?!  My husband is a 1st year medical student and I work nights as a nurse, so there is a lot of worry surrounding my job and how we are going to make it work with twins.

Upcoming appointments? Ultrasound and Dr. appoint tomorrow (Wednesday!)

Any major milestones or major events? no new is good news??!

  • Hi. I'm 13w3d, due 6/7. I'm high risk due to age (42), previous mc (girl, T13), FET, previous myomectomy and low fluid issues. This is my 3rd pregnancy and 2nd baby (dd).

Still super exhausted and have added insomnia to make it worse. I was hoping it would get better since I'm off the progesterone but it has not. I'm glad I don't have the awful nausea I had with dd for 5 months. I feel for you ladies.

I have my MFM appt tomorrow (weds). That is the appt where we found out about my mc at 13 weeks so I'm always nervous at this one.

Love the pierogi appetizer. (We are Polish)

    Nothing else to report.
