Overnight oatmeal recipe?

I know some ladies here eat overnight oatmeal and I wondered if you could share your recipes.

Re: Overnight oatmeal recipe?

  • 1 cup steel cut oats
    4 Cups water
    3 apples, peeled and chopped
Brown sugar to taste (I do maybe 1/4 cup)
    Sprinkle of cinnamon
    Sprinkle of nutmeg
    Splash of vanilla
    Sometimes add flax seed

I put it in a casserole dish inside my crockpot with water outside and cook on low for 8 1/2 hours.

    Mix in crasins when done.

Do you want like a mason jar cold brew one, or a slow cooker one? I have both.

Do I need to make them both every night? Or is it like a make on Monday and eat all week thing?

    1/4 cup rolled oats
    1/3 cup milk
    1/2 cup Greek yogurt
    1 tsp chia seeds (optional)

Stir to combine, let sit in fridge overnight. Mine last all week.

Add in whatever toppings/sweeteners you want before eating. I do banana, honey, and pecans with a little cinnamon. Also raspberries, sugar, and vanilla. Or you can add preserves. Really whatever you want.

Oh! I have all the stuff for this one.

Thanks everyone! I couldn't find one with very many ratings on allrecipes and knew I could get a good one here.
