Hi Ladies! I'll give an update. We had our anatomy/anomaly scan on Monday and everything looked great. It's weird to have nothing to worry about! The doctor said that from here on out I'll be treated like a normal pregnant lady, meaning I'll see a doctor once a month for about ten minutes until the third trimester. Very odd after all the IF treatment!
We also found out that this is a GIRL!!! I was shocked.
QOTW: I'm bad at decorating. My husband, however, is a composer and collects odd musical instruments. Much of our decorations consist of them hanging on the walls, on tchotchke shelves, etc.

Hi ladies! I haven't checked in for a long time but I've recently been doing some stalking on this board so I figured I'd check in. I'm 38w1d and I feel like today he's dropped a lot. Overall I've felt pretty good except for the heartburn but I'm ready to be done being pregnant. Scared to death to actually give birth though. We finally have the basics ready for him, all clothes are washed, the nursery is set up and the care seat bases are installed. My shower is this Sunday so we'll see what else we get for him and then do come registry completion shopping early next week. My next appointment is tomorrow and they'll check my cervix and we'll talk about the possibility of induction before my due date due to my age. I've been nesting for the last couple weeks but I've also been really tired so it's going slower than I'd like.
DH had a dream that the baby was born on 12/1. I realized that will be the one year anniversary of my first ET. So we'll see what happens.
QOTW: I'd say my style is a mix of craftsman and contemporary.
TTC since August 2011, Me = 40, DH = 38 Unexplained IF. Tried Clomid for 3 cycles. All BFNs. BFP 1/6/13. Chemical pregnancy.
Moving on to IVF#1. ER 11/26/13, 16 eggs retreived, 12 mature and all fertilized. 2 blasts transferred on 12/1. All other embies arrested so nothing left to freeze. Beta 12/10 = BFN. IVF #2 March 2014. BFP!!! TEAM BLUE!!!
Hi everyone! I'm 33 weeks with twins... not much to update... Everything has been going really well with the pregnancy (as far as health goes). I'm just pretty uncomfortable at this point :-) which is expected. We have everything ready for their arrival and DH is working on sanding and painting the baby beds (his papa built them). All we have left to get for the nursery is baby boy's bedding and curtains. We did schedule a csec for dec 30! I'm not sure ill make it that long (38 weeks, my dr doesn't seem to think I will either) but we'll see! It is exciting to have something scheduled, so I know I'll be holding my babies come new years :-)
QOTD: I would say, casual southern elegance...I haven't decorated my house the way I want it (due to always having other things to spend money on...like ivf, fet, and now twins) Right now or house is decorated with a lot of hand-me-downs from my aunt (who is great at interior decorating) maybe in a few years I can spend money on getting it the way I want it :-)
I'm 26 weeks, had baby shower recently, got so many things for the girls. I have to take the glucose test within the next 2 weeks. I am able to sleep at night - that's something my friends and family had told me would be hard to do but so far, so good. The only bothersome symptoms are heartburn (Ob suggests Prevacid over tums) and back pain, my upper back. I get massages, put heating pad on low sometimes but back ache continues which is normal but bothersome. The girls are kicking up a storm and I swear, they recognize my husband's voice because they throw a party in my stomach when he talks to them, it's cute.
