cos it's 5am already here.

I must be the only overdue preggo in the world hoping the baby stays in just a little bit longer. DH flies home tomorrow and lands in the afternoon. Fingers crossed these slow gentle contractions stay slow and gentle for another day or so.

I *finally* got my clogged milk duct worked out and HOLY CRAP I feel great! I also had an insane amount of milk come out. Sweet, sweet relief.

DS is fast asleep on my chest, let's see how many attempts it takes to move him to the bassinet. Today I have to bring him with me to the auto service shop. I need an oil change. My light has been on for 2 weeks.

My LO, who is 20 days, just rolled over onto his stomach, completely unassisted, while I was reaching to get a new sleeper to put on him during a diaper change. I just Sat there on the floor watching him thinking oh boy, I'm in trouble.

I'm so frustrated with Alexis. I had Evan almost to sleep when she said poopy and took her diaper off. So I had to quickly set him down so she didn't get poop everywhere. Luckily she wasn't actually poopy, but Evan started crying again. Levi is still asleep though.

@NinerGirl52‌ I agree! I can complain about Wednesday when it's only Tuesday!

It's been 32 hours since my membrane sweep, and other than a little spotting and more frequent BH, nothing. LO is chilling. I really wish nature would figure out a way to make the due date the "officially arriving date" just so we could relax all the other days. Get on that!

@morrkim‌ a friend of mine went from one (dd) to three (added b/g twins). Her eldest had an adjustment period, where she adored her siblings, but also needed them to just leave sometimes so she could have Mommy back! I hope Alexis adjusts quickly -
Or at least keeps her diapers on!

I went shopping today (without the baby) and feel like I overdid it, I feel like crap from walking around so much.

And I'm starving. I totally forgot to eat today, which happens a lot, except then at nighttime I want to eat everything at once. Like I just put together a plate of swiss cheese slices, a granola bar, yogurt, cheddar bunnies, and I'll probably have a bowl of cereal after.

Wide awake here - my darling baby has decided to eat every other hour all day and all night. It's like she can't get enough all the sudden. So we sleep an hour, eat, spend 30 minutes trying to get her down, repeat. I feel like a zombie! On top of that she only wants to sleep in my arms. No rest for the weary!

I hope to have a baby in a few hours! I was admitted late yesterday afternoon due to little to no amniotic fluid and have been patiently been waiting for the go from my OB to start pushing.

Funny how I was so antsy for my little guy to come and now that I'm in labor, I'm letting him take his time. (That may also be the amazing effects of the epidural that I thought I would forgo, but in the end couldn't, talking.)

I should be attempting to rest but with DH's snoring a few feet away, I'm happy to bump away with you ladies!

Random but my milk came in today and I'm leaking like crazy! I'm still supplementing with the liquid formula the hospital gave me until I get my breast pump this weekend (because manual pumping is just plain terrible!) LO loves the left but has trouble with the right... Not sure what it is. She just woke up for her feeding but I had put a ton of nipple cream on both and she was not having any of that. It says it's okay to feed with but appearently she disagreed lol.

Did anyone's skin get extremely dry after giving birth? Ever since I got home from the hospital my face has been so dry. Been moisturizing but not much improvement.

Congrats to all the mamas who got their milk in! @Ineedmorecoffee‌ this happens to me often. I pump for just a couple minutes to take the edge off, then it's easier for LO to latch on.

The last couple days Natalie goes on a milk binge from 5pm to 10-11pm. Last night was no different. I literally held her and fed her that whole time. I'm so exhausted.

@uncharted01‌ Geez I hope so. He is a super wiggly baby and honestly I've never felt comfortable laying him on something and walking away because he's been able to push over onto his side since he was a week old and will do it every time I lay him down. I have to keep my hand on his stomach during diaper changes to keep him on his back.

He had wet through his sleeper earlier and so I had grabbed a new one. He had pushed up on his side and then when I grabbed his new sleeper he straightened out his leg and pushed and rolled right onto his stomach. He kind of flailed then lifted his head and looked around confused. Definitely don't think he meant to do it but man I wasn't expecting it!

Anyone have experience with a broken pump? I have the medela freestyle and one of the pumps isn't working! The suction is like 1/10 of what it should be and therefore doesn't do the trick.

Hoping I can call the company and they'll send me a replacement part...

Have you tried a different hold? I have to do football hold on my left side sometimes as LO seems more comfortable that way. Other times cradle hold is fine.

Also, yes my skin was crazy dry after getting home from the hospital! It took about a week to get back to normal.

Super jealous of all those ladies with babies stretching out their feeds. Eli is over 3 weeks and still is 2.5-3 hours overnight.

Is anyone else dealing with pregnancy induced carpal tunnel??? My hands and wrists have been THROBBING so badly and I had no idea what from but someone mentioned to it was carpal tunnel... Supposedly it is due to hormone change and goes away after birth but mine didn't really show up until after she was born.

I'm with ya @sweetbabyrahe‌ Coming up on 6 weeks and she has only slept for a 4-hour stretch once... I'm thankful for 2-3 hours of sleepy time this week tbh. We're back to sleep within an hour, and that is refreshing from being up every hour for two! So looking forward to three elusive five hours of sleep, though!

My random: I was so confused by it raining in slow motion... until I realized it was just really, really wet snow/mix. $:\$ "> It's obviously snow now, but I thought I may be losing it for a moment there!

So last night sucked. Alistair woke up at 11:45, 1:30, 3:15 and 5. It's like he's actually getting worse rather than better with his sleeping!! I know they say sleep training is a no at this age, but I really wish there was something I could do!!!

I had carpel tunnel the whole second half of my pregnancy. Although it was much more numbness than pain. The inside (closest to my thumb) of my ring finger and middle finger. Also the tips of my middle three fingers. It was worse during the night. It's much better now, but not completely gone (3 weeks pp)
Dr said swelling and extra fluids (blood, etc when pregnant) have a lot to do with it. Have you had a lot of swelling pp?

I had little to no swelling that's why this snuck up on me so badly! It's mainly my wrists and thumbs. It's the worst at night like you said. It feels like I'm constantly hitting the worst funny bone ever. I would describe it as a spasm.
