We are doing ok. This isn't my first m/c unfortunately and it probably will not be my last. I just have crappy eggs or a crappy uterus, maybe both. I've kind of been prepared for this in a way due to my history of miscarriage.

I'm sorry to hear you've had other m/c. I don't know how much your OB told you about molar pregnancies, but there is a whole other layer of stress added to make sure that the "mole" doesn't grow back into cancer. It is rare, but it's still another thing to worry about. Supposedly it is a total fluke and not genetic.

Like I mentioned, there's only one hospital in the UK and one doctor in the US who studies this. The site above has the most up to date and accurate info all in one place, which I found incredibly helpful, especially when my OB didn't really know what to tell me about it. I was told I had to wait 6 months with negative hcg tests (routine is to go in weekly after you reach negative, for 3 weeks, then monthly for 6 months with a partial and for 1 year with a molar) before I could TTC again, but current research shows it could be less depending on how quickly your numbers drop.

Thank you for the info! I am definitely going to read it. My other m/cs were natural this time I'm going for a DNC and she said she has to take my blood to make sure (can't remember the name of the hormone) goes back to 0 and that for the next 6 months they will have to check for regrowth. I didn't realize how rare this was.
