    I'm sick. I don't even know how I caught something but I feel terrible. This is the worst time to be sick because I have so much to do this week.

    I'm still in my pout-y bubble from last night (see Random thread). It is safe to say I will probably be having me a beer tonight after DH leaves for work. Can you tell I hold on to things a little too long?

    So, I felt really awkward but I ignored her, and packed up my LOs before it was time to feed my youngest again (with plans to stop and feed her in the car since I felt put off my feeding her in front of the other girl), to add insult to injury:  I forgot my water bottle at the house we were visiting and had no water so I had to go the entire 30 minute car ride with a hungry baby :( 

    Ummmm....  :-t

    So hungry. I just cut out dairy last week and apparently there are no grab and go breakfasts at home or the work cafeteria without it. I should have at least ate a handful of peanuts at home...

    I felt like a total idiot on Friday.  I've been dealing with what I thought was kidney pain on my right side from a kidney infection.  I took a whole round of antibiotics and was still having pain so my doctor referred me to a urologist.  I had to get a kidney ultrasound and an x-ray.  Both came back normal, which is great.  While I was in my appointment, the doctor started asking me how old my baby was, and what side of the car I load her on.  He did a physical exam and turns out, my "kidney pain" is actually just lumbar pain from consistently leaning to one side while putting LO down.  So I took 10 days of unnecessary antibiotics. I'm happy that nothing is seriously wrong, but I was SO embarrassed.  And it doesn't help that the doctor was super handsome. He tried to tell me that I wasn't the first new mom in his office complaining of lumbar pain, but I'm not sure if I buy it. Apparently I don't know my body as well as I thought.

    LO and I have to go out today for about 2-3 hours of running errands plus another hour of meeting up with a friend I need to see. It is currently sleeting and its supposed to change over to snow while we are out. Who doesn't love to drive around doing errands in that?

    I have no problem telling people not to wake my sleeping baby. If anything, I'm sure babies sleep better at night if they are well rested during the day.
    Agreed. DD sleeps her best at night on the days she takes an extra nap during the day.

    I caught LO cold. Its Monday. I have to work on thanksgiving this year 5-1. LO first holiday. Boo. But I suppose Christmas (which i have off) is more fun even if she won't do anything yet.

    My baby has RSV. I feel so freakin bad for him. I wish there was something more for him that I could do. Now I am catching a cold. This is the 3rd time I've been sick since I've been back to work 6 weeks ago. I don't want us to be sick on Thanksgiving because I want to eat everything!!

    This exactly. Everyone is different that's what makes it interesting. I feel out of place at times but this group is pretty great. And my wedding was not fancy either I did everything bare minimum lol and very little is interesting about me.

    @zoegirlTX‌ not really worth reading imo. Some people said they had sex, other people said that they didn't think you should say that in public (in detail, anyway), then there was a little spat with the fb group.

    whuuut?  I agree that most babies will end up with some form of the virus, but RSV can be very serious, my healthy, term baby was in the PICU and admitted to the Childrens hospital with it for over a week (and he was 6 months old at the time!), it can be very very serious in young babies.  For adults and other children, its 'like a cold'.  There was a NB in the room next to us that had been in the PICU for a month, and had numerous complications from RSV, including a collapsed lung.

    @andrea ri 80 is right. Yes, RSV is just a bad cold in adults, but can be life threatening for babies. It is not something to to take lightly. In fact, because my LO was preemie, she gets monthly shots to protect her from RSV.

    They aren't similar at all. Their catfish made up her whole life....pretended to have a baby, used fake pics of herself and baby, etc. That's a big leap for them to say that.

    I think they are just saying both had/have some juicy stories to tell. I can't think of any other similarities.

    Hasn't @lappyfoinker‌ posted pictures of herself though?? I can't recall who all did it but at one point people were posting pictures with signs proving they were real. It may have been before she joined us.

    She did ask @Pink021‌ to remove some pictures of herself when we were talking about hair a few weeks ago...

    Personally, after that catfish thing came out and put my shit into perspective, I no longer post pics of me or DS. If I could, I would remove all pics... Freaked me out it did.
