My forgetful self left a small pack on the kitchen table last night. I was standing at the stove and heard her say something then heard the sound of the match on the box. I whipped around and see her sitting at the table, match flaming away. I guess she's watched me do it and I didn't realize. I just forget she's not a little baby anymore.
Lesson: Put the damn matches up! Her hand-eye coordination is better than mine.
Re: Ugh. A's figured out how to light matches
Oh my! Scary!
On a side note, tell A she has something in common with her FMIL...I'm a pyro too! lol I love lighting matches, but mainly because I like the smell when they're blown out (same with candles...people think I burn them because they smell good...I burn them for the smell of when you blow them out).

I know. I'm usually good about it. Sometimes I feel like I gave birth to an adult. My sister said she's Firestarter, Chucky, Damien the Omen and Dennis the Menace all rolled into one.
MrsTerry-- I went through a match phase years ago. I don't know what that was about. A friend in h.s. used to set our teacher's ruler on fire when she left the room and blame me. We clearly had issues.
Yikes!!
My Next door neighbours kid set fire to his brothers bed with a lighter. He was 3 at the time. You know what his Mum said? "We'd been telling him for weeks not to touch the lighter!!" WTF??? Get rid of the lighter dumb ass!! Not you - her. She is an idiot! The house was really badly damaged. Thank God the kids were ok.
Keep those matches up high!

Too busy to update the pics for now ...
I freaked when I found DD with a lighter that she DIDN'T know how to use - I shudder to think what she would do with a match! Luckily, she's never seen us use one, so maybe we're safe?
Yeah, lesson learned, right? WOW! You have my deepest sympathies.
