What week/fruit are you? Today marks 7 weeks! Baby is a Blueberry!
Latest symptoms or lack there of? Everything seems to be lessening this week: boobs are less sore, cramps aren't as bad, exhaustion is there but tolerable. Either that, or I'm just getting used to it all!! Biggest issue now is constipation. I JUST WANNA POOP DAILY!
Any upcoming or recent doctor appointments? Routine or not? My first prenatal exam is today in 2 hours!! 10:15 can't come quick enough. After a few days of rough cramping and back pain, I'm praying that the Ultrasound shows a healthy, growing baby!
Rants and Raves of the week? Rant of the week: My MIL watches DS on Mondays & Wednesdays. I had a load of laundry waiting to be done when I got home. MIL surprised me by doing it for me during naptime. Also surprised me by putting 3 new sweaters in the dryer and shrinking them all! :-O Rave of the week: IT'S ULTRASOUND DAY!
GTKY: Top 5 concerts you would love to see (alive or deceased!) Even though I picked this question, it's so tough!! My top 5 I think would be (not in any order) Incubus, Michael Jackson, The Doors, Zac Brown and Justin Timberlake. Obviously I listen to a wide variety of music! Ha!

1. What week/fruit are you? 6 weeks my baby is the size of a sweet pea.

2. Latest symptoms or lack there of? Extemely bad bloat.

3. Any upcoming or recent doctor appointments? Routine or not? I have my first ultrasound on Monday. I am so excited!

4. Rants and Raves of the week? I am in Disney World with my family this week. They all know I'm pregnant. At least 3 times a day I hear how pregnant I look. I am not pregnant people I am just fat.

1. 6 weeks - sweet pea!
2. Starting to experience nausea, which I am managing by eating constantly throughout the day (I ate 10 clementines yesterday, but it worked!). Also gassy, crampy, and bloated. Lovely.
3. I have my first appointment on Tuesday. I was told by my nurse that they usually don't do an ultrasound at this first appointment, but am hoping to sweet talk the doctor

4. Rants - super busy at work this week and no energy to do anything!
Raves - I took all of next week off work and I am sooo glad I did!
5. Incubus, Pearl Jam, Mumford & Sons...there are too many to narrow it down to 5!

-raves: I'm 7 weeks pregnant

-rants: I pray I can eat thanksgiving dinner. Nothing smells or tastes good right now except chicken wings lol.

I'm not 100% sure of my due date and that may change today after my appointment, but for now I'll play along since I think it's the 17th!

What week/fruit are you? Today is 6 weeks! Baby is the size of a sweet pea!
Latest symptoms or lack there of? My boobs hurt really bad and the nausea/vomiting struggle is still very real. I'm pretty sure I've lost a lot of weight already, my pants are fitting better and I just feel smaller (I put the scale away otherwise I'll obsess over it). I've also now developed terrible stomach issues. I actually think I may have a lactose issue now, I'm trying to cut the dairy and then introduce it back in to figure out if this is the culprit.
Any upcoming or recent doctor appointments? Routine or not? My first prenatal exam is today in 2 hours as well! I'm both nervous and excited for this. Last time (I had a miscarriage in July) I had an US almost every 3 or 4 days from the time I found out I was pregnant. So this time has been very nerve wracking but also peaceful since there really isn't anything to obsess over since I have no idea what is happening in my ute right now!

Still with the nausea and gagging and dry heaving. I will be so glad to be finished with that.

Any upcoming or recent doctor appointments? Routine or not?

Blood draws scheduled for Dec. 22 (genetic stuff too, I think) and Ultrasound of Dec. 26!

Rants and Raves of the week?

Raves: 7 weeks down, 33 to go! Also, my husband has been amazing helping me something to eat.

Rants: why does my kitchen have so many smells?!

Hard to say. I love listening to music, but I'm not a huge fan of concerts. I'd rather go play pool or see a movie or something.

What week/fruit are you? I'm week 6 - a sweetpea.
Latest symptoms or lack there of? I just have this insatiable hunger that's driving me crazy, but at least the cramps have calmed down.
Any upcoming or recent doctor appointments? Routine or not? Today at 3:00 I see my doc for the first time. I was too nervous to ask on the phone if they'd be doing the ultrasound today, but I'm really hoping so.
Rants and Raves of the week? The igniter on my pellet stove is dead, so we have to take a good 20 minutes every morning to start it up manually, so that's obnoxious. Also, a freelance job that I quit about a month ago is still asking me to help every time they break things.

I smell everything which is making my nausea horrible then mix in the Indigestion and I am a mess. Good sounds horrible and water makes it worst sipping sprite/ ginger ale helps a little. Today Is going to be ruff.

Wednesday I am doing a repeat ultrasound to check for the heart beat. FX it's good
Rants and Raves of the week? My son had surgery yesterday so I am glad I have an excuse to just be lazy with movie days because I feel horrible. I haven't puked yet I am pretty sure today will be the day.

I saw Bon Jovi in Jersey. It was a fun show! You can tell he loves playing for the home crowd.

According to LMP my Dr office is calculating that I will be 7w 6d, but based on my ovulation chart I will be 6w 4d so I am hoping to get a dating u/s from this appt. However, they don't have the machines in their office so I won't get it that day.Rants and Raves of the week? Rants: the cold and a co-workers talking about my previous miscarriages like they were no big things (she does not know I am currently pregnant). Latest symptoms or lack there of?
I really have no symptoms. Only thing I ever get is that feeling of vomiting and that's gone all ready.
However as soon as the baby starts to grow I always get horrible hip pains and bad bad heart burn for the entire 9 months. That's they only way I know I should be peeing on a stick lol

Any upcoming or recent doctor appointments? Routine or not?
Nothing first appointment isn't till 12/12 my ob is booked till January. This appointment is just to get me registered.

What week/fruit are you? I am a sweet pea this week!

Latest symptoms or lack there of? A tiny bit of nausea if I don't constantly drink water;) tired, babybrain, super happy and giddy! Cramping went away yesterday. Gassy!!

Any upcoming or recent doctor appointments? Routine or not? My first Dr visit is Dec 1st. I went to someone today to get my sore throat checked out though. Worry much;)

Rants and Raves of the week? I'm feeling so great! My DH is handling this way WAY better than I though!

I'm so excited to participate in this thread! This is the first Friday I've seen it!

What week/fruit are you? Blueberry! 7 weeks
Latest symptoms or lack there of? I got hit with the morning sickness on Wednesday. I was ok at breakfast, but on my lunch break I was trying to eat some white bean chicken chili (yay protein). I only ate maybe a quarter of it and I felt like I was going to be sick. The rest of the day at work I only drank water, and orange juice. My lunch break is at 10am, and I didn't eat anything else until 6pm, and that was just some popcorn so I wouldn't be taking my vitamin on an empty stomach. Hubby brought be gatorade and then I went to bed at 830. Since then I bought the sea bands. wore them today and they seemed to help, but after a few hours they hurt so I took them off. hoping I only have the nausea once in a while. Other than that my main symptom is constipation. I'm lucky I guess in that I am able to go, but it hurts like heck when I do. (and I bleed!)
Any upcoming or recent doctor appointments? Routine or not? Yeah. I had my first OB appt on the 14th, it was basically just to confirm pregnancy. My ultrasound will be on Dec 19 (11wks). In the meantime tho, I had scheduled an appointment with medically supervised weight loss, and they found my thyroid levels to be low, so I have an endocrinology appt on Dec 5, a weight loss (weight maintainance while pregnant) appt on Dec 3, Dentist Dec 8, OB Dec 19, and weight loss Dr Dec 30 (busy month ahead!)
Rants and Raves of the week? rant- I work at a daycare and told a couple people the day I found out. made the stupid mistake to tell my boss the next day. She wanted to announce to everyone at our staff meeting last week, and I told her no. I work with about 25 girls. I'm close with about 1/2. I've told most of them. Today one of the parents came into the office (I'm also a supervisor), and told me congrats-- my boss told her. seriously! grrr. As for a RAVE My hubby has been super supportive of me. very caring and going the extra mile. and I have awesome friends who are willing to listen to me complain.

2. Latest symptoms or lack thereof? Exhausted, but that's probably more to do with my recently starting a new job. I forgot what full-time RN is like

I also got motion sickness yesterday watching a PowerPoint presentation! Super weird but it hasn't happened again.

3. Any upcoming or recent doctor appointments? Routine or not? Well, I had my first OB appointment rescheduled on me. It was supposed to be on Monday but was pushed back a week. The nurse that had called me was very stressed about short staff during the holidays and I totally understand as my unit is currently scrambling to fill the holiday season, so I told her not to worry about it at all. We talked a few minutes about how being a nurse during the holidays is tough because we have to work while the rest of America gets the day off, but rewarding because we're spending our time helping heal others. Before we hung up I asked her if I could possibly get an earlier ultrasound (my first is scheduled for 12 weeks, in January) because I wanted to send one to my parents for Christmas, and she asked if I had been off birth control for 3 months prior to my BFP. When I told her it had been 5, she told me she couldn't hear me and was going to write that I had quit BC 2 months prior, because the policy is to get an early US if I was inside that 3 month window. So sweet. We'll go in the week before Christmas. Best Christmas present ever

Latest symptoms or lack there of? Fatigue, Faintness, waves of nausea, sleeplessness, anxiety (first timer here!), hot and cold flashes, gassy, bloated, constipated... boy I sound fun don't i! LOL. Oh, don't forget the sore boobies. I'm thrilled they are going to get bigger. I'm a card carrying A-cup.
Any upcoming or recent doctor appointments? Routine or not? I have not had my 1st appointment yet. DH and I have a tour of a birthing center on the 29th and I'll have an appointment during week 10-12. I may see my OB before that just to make sure everything is OK.
Rants and Raves of the week? We got the BFP on Tuesday and I am pumped to have off all next week! Yay!!!
