Ok I'll be 16 weeks tomorrow but as of Monday I have been feeling little thumps here and there not all the time and I think it's the baby moving. Anyone else feel theirs this early on?
I am also 16 weeks today and started feeling the baby a couple days ago. Big times yesterday after a bit of caffeine. He/she was having a little dance party in there.
Ok so I'm not the only one . It's been 6 years since my first so I wanted to make sure I wasn't mistaking it for something else. No big ones yet but u did feel a thump when my husband put his hand on my stomach this morning lol.
Oh I don't expect to feel anything from the outside till around 18 weeks . I told my husband about feeling the baby today but told him not to expect to feel it himself for another few weeks.
I am just about 16w and I think I started to feel some tiny thumps and taps. It's not often but it's times when I know it's not gas. It's so odd to me since I had anterior placenta last time and didn't feel baby until about 22w weeks.
1st BFP- March 2011. Natural MC @ 8 weeks
2nd BFP- July 2011. Chemical Pregnancy
3rd BFP- Sep 2011. My beautiful son was born May 2012. 4th BFP-August 2014- Due May 12, 2015
I was 17 weeks the first time when I for sure knew I was feeling baby move. There was no doubt because the thumps were way stronger than any gas or stomach gurgling. It felt like someone was tapping on my belly with their finger but from the inside. I'm 15w tomorrow and haven't felt anything yet.
Not really. You could actually be feeling your own heart beating. I know certain ways I lay I can feel mine. Trust me you will know when you feel it. It's hard to tell the first time around but it's definitely a feeling you'll never forget. It feels like someone tapping or thumping the inside of your stomach.
I have a question, as a first time mom. Does it sometimes feel like heart palpitations?
No, it's stronger/different in my experience. For me, when I first felt baby move, there was no doubt in my mind. No wondering if it was something else.
My first pregnancy I didn't feel much until around 20 weeks. This time I swear I feel small flutters after I drink cold water or just eat something. It's very localized and not consistent. But I think baby is just wiggling. I know I didn't feel kicks from the outside until much later. Maybe 25 weeks or so.
2 days shy of 15weeks STM definitely felt my daughter today. It was movement and definitely not a thumping kick. A creepy feeling like someone was touching me from the inside. I was at at red light. Its still amazing even the second time around.
I am 2nd time mom, I felt baby tonight for sure. However an event the night before last had DH and I BOTH feeling baby!
I was dead asleep and DH walked in to come to bed and knocked over a huge tumbler water bottle that was empty and it made a loud clash and bounced a few times, I jolted awake, fight or flight kicked in and baby went NUTS! I figured out I was ok he said sorry and I said come here and feel your son! He felt him kick from the jolt. I messaged my OB to make sure I didn't give the poor thing a heart attack, she said that my elevated heart rate probably gave him a little jolt. I never felt movement like that before he was going nuts!!
I'm a first time mom so maybe you all can help! I think I might have felt the baby move 2 nights it a row. It's felt like little "pops" near my belly button. Is it possible that was the baby moving it just air/gas bubbles?
I felt our LO moving last week at 15 weeks and some days at first I thought it was gas bubbles LOL but after a few days of off and on again bubbles and pressure I new it was that little stinker probably saying stop eating hot sauce
I felt my son very early. I first felt him at 14 weeks and my husband felt a kick from the outside at 18w2d.
This time around I'm thinking her placenta might be in the way because I really don't feel much. I'm trying not to worry because I know it's still early.
FTM here and I'm a day shy of 16w. I've definitely felt the baby move a few times this week. First couple times felt like little tiny bubbles popping a little below my belly button. Last night felt more like twitches, or like someone was inside flicking my belly. Really cool feeling!

This thread makes me so excited. I am 14wks4days FTM so I know I still have some time until I'll feel baby. But reading about everyone's experiences has me so giddy!
Can I say this makes me feel a whole lot better I could hug you. I'm 17w4d and I haven't felt my baby. I'm not thin, I have a little bit of tummy podge so I think that might be my reason for being a bit behind (I've googled a lot)
I'm 17 weeks and found out last week I have an anterior placenta and probably won't be able to feel much for a good while still! boo. I have only felt baby twice when I woke up laying on my stomach and I could feel her like on the side.
I'm a STM-14.5 weeks and definitely feeling the baby move. Mostly at night when I'm laying in bed. With my first I didn't feel anything until 19 weeks!!
I'm 15wks and felt Baby M flutter around 12wks. It's definitely sporadic and I've gone a week before feeling it again. My first pregnancy I remember the feelings but always thought it was indigestion or gas.
