Body Pillows??

I've heard a lot about the total body and pregnancy pillows. Does anyone have one? Are there any recommendations? I'm wondering I it is worth the money or if I would be fine with a normal Body pillow. I'm 6 weeks and due July 16 but have already had trouble staying asleep and getting comfortable and using 3 regular pillows.

Thanks ladies!!

Re: Body Pillows??

  • I tried a few and found a regular body pillow was fine for me. If you buy one just check the store's return policy in case you hate it.

  • I got a snoogle when I was pregnant with DD. I loved it and can't wait to bust it out again.

    This.

  • I absolutely hated the snoogle. I had a memory foam pillow that I sleep on and I couldn't get comfortable with the snoogle for the life of me. I bought a 10$ body pillow from BB&B and it worked great.

  • I had the pillow from boppy - it looks like a huge kidney bean and cost $50 from Babies R Us.  Around 20 weeks my hips get all wonky and I have to sleep with something between my knees.

  • I have the boppy one also and loved it.
Bonus my son now uses it as a floor pillow for reading.
  • I just use my normal body pillow. If I put something bigger in our bed than that my DH would have a fit. And really, my body pillow works just fine.

  • A normal body pillow gets my vote. I have the Boppy one and it is ok, but not as supportive as I would have liked.

  • I broke down and bought a body pillow on Amazon last weekend. I got the Leachco Back 'N Belly - it was delivered Wednesday, luv it!! I'm only 6w2d but I have fibromyalgia and always have a hard time getting comfortable, and it's been getting worse with the pregnancy. Splurge on your self! you're worth it! :)

  • I inherited this one from my SIL: https://www.amazon.com/Leachco-Belly-Contoured-Pillow-Ivory/dp/B0002E7DIQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1416613697&sr=1-3&keywords=leachco+snoogle+total+body+pillow

It was AH-MAZING! I even took it to the hospital with me and all of the nurses and doctor were marveling at it. So comfy!

  • I have a snoogle and loved it for my first pregnancy when I was having really bad back pain. I waited to buy it, because I didn't want to spend $70 on a pillow, but it was totally worth it.
  • I just got a body pillow from Target for the same reason... I didn't want to invest too much $ initially because I wasn't sure if it was going to help. Only $9.99 (plus cover for another $9.99) works great!!! Probably just for now until I get bigger... Helps with the sore boobs though!
