Me too. And I am not nearly as bloated just backed up
  • I cry before I throw up. A few minutes ago I was in bed crying because I knew it was coming.

  • I'm actually happy to be going to work today. I work one day per week. I love my DD but she wears me out. She's 16 months old and doesn't stop all day. So today my DH works from home and has to watch her. *insert evil laughter* >:)
What job do you do? I have a 15 month old:) Last year I also worked one day a week but this year was bumped to .8 (4 days a week.)

I work in an endocrinologist doctor's office. I'm a medical assistant. Everyone there is part time.

    What job do you work?

I hate you a little. UTIs can be the worst.

I had my first ever UTI earlier this year prior to getting pregnant. I used to think people were being dramatic when they went on and on complaining about them. Nope, those things hurt like hell and just doing a simple thing like peeing is miserable. Thank God for Pyridium
  • I'm freaking out after yesterday's OB appointment. I know a lot of women would be very grateful to have the possibility of twins, I, however, was trying for one. And I really didn't want to be showing before I got word from this job in Florida. Ugh.

I understand how you feel. I'd be terrified and overwhelmed. One baby is hard.

  • Most people are so excited to tell their parents about their pregnancies. This time, for whatever reason, I'm sort of dreading it! I just have really enjoyed having this whole secret CONTAINED. Once we tell our moms...as much as they promise they won't tell...I still know they will. I wasn't prepared for how protective I'd feel over this pregnancy. With our last one, we told them before the stick was dry. It's so strange.

    Me: 30; DH: 32
    Married since 3/15/08.
Pregnancy 1: BFP on 1/24/11 - Molly born on 10/6/11!
    Pregnancy 2: BFP on 11/5/14 - Baby #2 due on 7/17/15!
In between pregnancies, I've grown to love my "other" baby. The "carb baby", that's taken permanent residence in my belly, thanks to my overzealous love of bread, pasta and pastries. Hence my name. :)

  • Names where they've put a Y where an I is used traditionally (i.e. Lyndsey or Jayme) are common in my husband's family, and I just really don't get it.

  • Thanks, you guys. My work knows I'm pregnant, but I'm keeping this under wraps until we get the ultrasound. But I might lose my mind before we get there. Only 2 weeks and 4 days left. -_-

The people worthy of flaming here are the parents of Lyndsey and Jayme.

  • There have been a lot of brake ins in my neighborhood lately. It's a nice neighborhood and it looks like we're being targeted by the same group which figured out that we live in an unincorporated area and it takes the state troupers forever to respond. I told DH I don't feel safe home alone and he responded that I don't have to worry as we will buy a different house inTWO years!!!! R u f kidding me??????

  • I asked MIL if she could take my 4 year old DD to preschool this morning (she works across the street) so that my 2 year old DS and I could skip getting ready for the day and watch movies in bed all morning.  I've had it with the morning sickness and exhaustion and a morning off was too tempting to pass up.

I feel the same way this pregnancy! We told close friends and family the same night I peed on the stick last time. This time, we are waiting. No reason in particular, just wanting to be careful. We might wait until the Christmas or the end of the first trimester to tell them. When are you planning on telling your parents? (Sorry if you already posted that somewhere else and I missed it!)

I'm tired of standing on the train on my way to work, I wish I was farther along so people can see that I'm pregnant and I can sit. I'm too embarrassed to ask. My back kills me by the time I get to my stop. :(
I seriously think this every day.  Maybe if I push it a little farther....

We're planning on Thanksgiving next week. It just feels like our little bubble is about to be popped! We're going to do the whole cliche DD in a "big sis" dress and see when they notice. I just....feeel....weird about it all.

This is what we're doing too. I'm taking her to the airport to pick up my parents with her in the shirt I made and see how long it takes them.  I figure DD won't realize their excitement is anything more than them seeing her.  She started rumors a year ago that I was pregnant at daycare and I know she'll say stuff now if she knows.

  • I am anal about Thank You cards.  If you thanked me in person for the gift, we are square.  But if my gift was opened after I left, mailed to you, or opened in a larger group - you better send a thank you.

I'm also anal about children saying thank you for gifts.  I have one 7 yr old nephew who has never said thank you for birthday or Christmas presents.  We are completely ignored.  However, my other 7 yr old nephew will say thank you and give H and I both a hug.
