20 weeks today!!! We could actually feel the baby move with our hands on my tummy :x Such an amazing feeling! I've been feeling kicks and flutters for the past few weeks, but not actual movement against my hand.
Aaaaw! I'm happy for you but a wee bit jealous too. Also 20 weeks but my munchkin is breech and clinging to me like a little monkey, limbs all turned in towards my back, so I can only feel the kicks very faintly. Can't wait to feel what you're feeling now! Enjoy it!
22 weeks, I haven't felt anything on the outside but starting to feel way more movement inside. I'm surprised to be feeling so much movement so soon since I have anterior placenta. Baby had hiccups when I was waiting for a doctor appointment earlier this week and you could see my stomach jolting each time. It was an exciting first time experience! I can't wait to be able to feel him move from the outside!
I've noticed some flutters, but they are so infrequent I first think they are sweet, then I panic because I can't feel it anymore.
@redneckmomma25 I was wondering about this! I got out of my bath last night (after worrying I was getting too warm) and watched my tummy do all sorts of odd moves. My husband said he couldn't really tell though. I can't wait for him to experience it.
My husband felt it for the first time the other night. He was amazed but also a little freaked out. He keeps asking the baby to do it again though. I love the feeling.
I've felt movement on the outside a couple of times, but DH hasn't. It kind of freaks him out, so he's not anxious to feel it.
Same with my DH. He wants to feel it, but on some levels it freaks him out, too.
Same here. I haven't felt outside movement with this one yet, but with my first I was always trying to get DH to feel. I think it's so cool, but he'd feel for a second then get freaked out. Wimp.
I noticed last night my belly was off to one side a little. I was like well that's weird. It's going to totally freak me out when it really start shifting. I've been feeling movement. Someone said in another post that it feels more like water cooler bubbles. Perfect description. I don't think anyone else could feel it but whenever it's moving no one else is around for me to test it because I don't know if I can actually feel it outside or I just think I do because I can feel it on the inside. If that makes any sense at all.
Boooo...I am jealous! I am 17 weeks 3 days and don't think I have felt anything yet. My doctor said it usually gets earlier with each child and this is my third. I didn't feel my DD until about 24ish weeks and my DS until right around the same so I probably have a while yet.
20 weeks today! And I'm not sure yet if I can feel movement from the outside or not. I think I can, but it's so light that I'm not certain if I'm just feeling it from the inside and imagining my hand can feel it too. Can't wait to share it with my husband. After the AS and finding out we're having a boy, he's much more excited and connected. Not that he only wanted a boy, but knowing what it is helps
Almost 21 weeks for me and have been feeling movement for about a week. Felt it on the outside a few times but DH hasn't. She kicked my OB yesterday when we were getting heart tones though.
It's been really weird, I wasn't sure I'd felt anything until Monday but only a few days later I can feel the movement from the outside. We apparently have a very active baby which DH says shouldn't be surprising considering how active the two of us are. Baby always stops moving when DH tries to feel haha
Just felt the kicks from the outside last night at exactly 20 weeks! It was so gratifying because I had been feeling that thumping feeling for about a week but wasn't sure if it was baby or my mind playing tricks. But I was lying down at the time and looked down and I could see the kicks!! So exciting.
Yes! I've been able to feel it from the outside for a few weeks now, but I also have a posterior placenta. I can SEE the kicks now. If I don't feel them for awhile I start poking and shaking my stomach until she kicks. I'm sure it's super annoying.
21 weeks today and I can feel her a lot at night and sometimes randomly through the day. Hubby felt her for the first time last Sunday with one little thump, then again on Monday but she was pretty inactive during the week until last night where she was going crazy. He laid his head on my stomach and he felt her a lot so I hope it continues, I love feeling her!
I'm 20w4d with an anterior placenta and very fortunate to be able to feel movement! My fiancé can feel her from the outside too. I asked my doctor about why I could feel movement early because I've been able to feel her since 17 weeks (not from outside though) and she said sometimes having an anterior placenta doesn't affect feeling movement. She almost made me pee my pants the other day though haha not excited for that! Hope all mamas can feel baby move very soon
I started feeling movement from the outside a week ago today. It's getting more frequent, but so far not consistent enough that my husband has gotten to feel it yet.
@cwiceangel I can already tell that this LO is hanging out on my left side. My son was that way and there were days I looked so lopsided with him, especially as I got bigger!
