Middle names with an obvious meaning

Update on my name situation:

We have a few first names that we both agreed were okay: Bethany, Brooke, Kate, and Melanie. This is the most we have ever agreed on being "okay", so that's definitely forward progress. He was fairly unsure about Melanie, and also about Kate. (He still does not like that it is so short, and to be fair, that's why I removed it from the list too). I want it to work, but we've had no forward progress with it.

Aside from all this, he said a middle name has to have meaning. This is apparently why he agreed to Grace for our daughter. I chose it because it sounded the best, but he liked it because it's a meaningful name. Anyway, I need some suggestions for other names in that vein that will work as middle names and not be tacky or terrible. I don't think things like "Anna means Grace" will work, I think he is going to want the meaning to be fairly obvious. I'm also thinking he would like nature related names in the middle spot, as long as they aren't too hippy sounding. Anyone have ideas??

Edited to add: Dh ruled out Rose already.

Thanks!! I think Faith and Hope are okay, but I've had trouble selling myself on them. I don't really care for Joy at all. I like Lily a lot, but it's my cat's name. :)  I've considered Holly and Ivy as well. I think the bottom 6 are probably too hippy for him, but I happen to LOVE Temperance.

Thanks! I really like Iris and Calla.
  • Winter, Briar, Magnolia, River, Laurel
  • I like Melanie the best of those choices. Is there anything that has meaning to the two of you specifically? Such as you were married in June, or you're both really into music or literature? Melanie Violet Melanie Winter Melanie Willow Melanie Valentine Melanie June Melanie Juniper Melanie Iris Melanie Felicity Melanie Fleur Melanie Aria Melanie Ivy Melanie Snow Melanie Hope Melanie Cara (this may be a stretch, but it's from a word meaning beloved) Melanie Luna Melanie Lavender Melanie Poppy
That's a good thought that hadn't crossed my mind before. We started dating in June. We were married in September. The only thing that we both have the same type of passionate interest in is nature, which is why I was thinking something along those lines might be preferable to him. Thank you for your suggestions!
