I work in a high school, so this is a rarity. I spent the whole day terrified and sequestered in my classroom hoping no kids touched me. Now I want to incinerate my clothes, bathe in tea tree oil, and never return to work. I'm a baby.

WTF nose!! I have had a bloody nose every damn day since wk 15! Seriously it's embarrassing when I am helping a customer or in a meeting and the stupid thing just decideds to start bleeding. So fed up and so grossed out when it happens in front of coworkers :-L

I am currently snowed in and have been cooking meals for my SO for the last 3 days, he looks at me tonight and says "what's for dinner?" and after settling on something relatively easy I stupidly asked if maybe he could take care of dinner tonight, yadda yadda fight ensues, I whip my iPhone across 3 rooms of the house at him.....and I miss. WTF that he hasn't cooked in forever and then bitched about it and WTF that I had to do the walk of shame to pick up my projectile object that missed..it was one of those moments where as soon as it left my hand the brain fog cleared and I thought to myself "well that was stupid". Sigh, I'm gonna blame this one on the hormones X_X

both of my legs have been having nerve pain all day. It started subsiding later on in the day. I took a nap and woke up with severe nerve pain in my left leg. Nearly caught me off guard when I went to walk out the room.

I give up. I went to get my son from daycare and the YOUNG girl working there was like "wow, you got big fast" and "I don't know if I ever got that big" blah fucking blah!!

People suck. Glad I'm not alone in the comments though so thank you ladies for that.

I'm not sure if you have ever tried Posh skin care stuff before, but I have a friend who sells and I swear by the sugar scrub every couple of days and "The Saint" full body moisturizing mask!! Amazing!!

So I had my job interview and it went horrible! It was over the phone and they guy who interviewed me didn't even look at my resume or portfolio beforehand and after giving him a run down of my education and experience he said "I don't want to sound snooty, but all of our employees here have at least 20 years experience." WTF?! Thanks for wasting my time and not even looking at my work douchebag.

Did you all miss the piece where I said "well that was stupid" in my initial post regarding my actions? So I don't need to then be subsequently told that it was stupid right? Also, until you know what an absolute pisser he can be when he chooses don't judge my responses to it. Again, especially after by my own admission "well that was stupid"

I have, but it was a pillow. I told him if he didn't stop pushing the subject I was going to and he continued. It hit him in the face, this dissolved into a pillow fight and fits of giggles. Half hour later we'd found a compromise. Best fight of my life right there.

Wtf coworker. I have the busiest time of the day as my shift at the front desk, still do everything you're supposed to do, and you get pissy at me because I put money for memberships in the money box (where it's supposed to go) instead of paper clipping a dollar to some paper. Stop just sitting on your ass and making me do your work when you have plenty of down time during your shift. Also when we let the kids at work be helpers, that doesn't mean letting the 5 year old do your whole job. It also doesn't mean that you let them lock the front doors just because they "wanted to push the button."

This. My jeggings are literally the only pants other than yoga pants that fit....good thing we are having fuzzy boot weather here!

I know it's Thursday but I can't wait until next week to bitch about this. I'm a nanny for a little girl and I get to her house today to start my 12 hour shift watching her and as the mom is walking out the door she says, "oh yeah, LO has a tiny fever it's only 99.5 can you just keep an eye on it?" And just walks out the door.
Two things that really bother me here...umm one do you want me to give her medication?
Two. I have multiple sclerosis which is an auto immune disorder aka I get sick SUPER easy.
I'm flabbergasted that the mom didn't tell me ahead of time because I wouldn't have come in, for my own health and the health of my child (not that he's affected directed by me getting a cold/flu/whatever)

WTF!!!!!!??!!!!!

@meganbethg Not cool that she didn't tell you ahead of time! If it makes you feel any better 99.5 is only * kind of* considered a fever because the average person can fluctuate up to that temperature in a normal day without being sick, be it from teething or having just run around, or first thing in the AM ( most people have a higher temp then) So hopefully that's all it is. I would take her temp often and if it starts to get higher or if she starts vomiting/ diarrhea I think you are completely justified in calling her mom back and saying you need to have her come home to protect your health, especially being immunocompromised! In terms of giving her medicine we usually tell parents it's not necessary until the temp is 100.4 or higher. Best of luck, stay healthy!

@jackieanddan1989‌ I've been checking her temperature every 2 hours and it seems to not be rising so I'm hoping it's just teething. And good to know for the future about medication being administered at 100.4 or higher! So thanks for that tip
