It's hard to judge. It's so much better than during pregnancy sex, and I feel like I was pregnant for 2 years...

I don't love sex. I could be happy with once a week or every other week. It is important to H, so we do it 4-6 times a week. So, I picked as good, but I mean, I would be ok with less.

I agree with the kegels @biggunsbo‌, but holy crap every 2 hours! Sex is actually better for me. 4-6 times a week is impressive @mRads. I'm so glad my husband doesn't read this stuff. He's appreciative when I tell him he can take an extra long shower if ya know what I mean. X_X
ETA: we're at 3-4 times a week- don't feel TOO bad for him. :P

@hollandmama - I forget if you have mentioned what BC you are using, but some of them can cause... :-B Sahara like conditions. :-B If that's part of the issue, maybe talk to your doc about it (or just invest in good lube). Hope it gets better! >:D<

I put better, but I think that has less to do with my being post-partum, and more to do with DH hitting some sort of awesome mid-30s stride....better than it's ever been, even when we were 21 and 19! Maybe he's not worried (or stressed/pressured?) about getting pregnant now that he's fixed and it's more fun for him? It's better for me too since I weaned and my hormones regulated. DTD while BFing was horrible for me, both times.

Eh..not as good and way less often. Which is probably mostly my fault. I'm just so tired and not in the mood as much.

It's definitely harder with a child.

But there are some really great times still..its just way less than before.

We've definitely turned a corner since fall where sex is better than it has been in awhile. I'm feeling better about my body after these babies and I'm in better shape than I have been in a long time. HaVing more confidence makes a huge difference!

We actually went almost a full month without DTD. Not meaning to. Just his schedule being crap and us being sick. When we finally did it felt like I was loosing my virginity again. Guess the kegels are working. When it happens , though, it's great-- as long as no kids wake up and interrupt. Lol

To answer the question, Things feel the same physically, it's just not very romantic these days since it's usually a quickie.

@biggunsbo jealous... I have to admit that there have been some awesome nights after baby, but most of them aren't

@EagleWife I use the ring, and now that you mention it, I actually had a month or so of normal sex (I mean good sex haha) between weaning and starting with the ring... we already use good lube and it helps but it's not the same

@casey78 definitely having less confidence in my body is making it difficult, but DH told me the other night that he loves my body after baby... he made me cry... my boobs are horrible

@beckyanddon>:D< I know how this feels, that was us for a long time while I was BF, it hurt so much even with lube... it started getting better when LO decreased the amount of sessions...

I know most of it is in my head but I am tired of it, I want my body back, not in the sense of having a normal shape haha but mostly how things feel...
