I could use some reassurance... UPDATE in OP

My fiancé literally JUST got on a plane 20 minutes ago and will be out of town until Sunday. When I got home from dropping him off at the airport, I laid down for half an hour and then felt funny. I got up and realized that I was gushing blood.
I'm trying to stay calm waiting for my OB office to call back. But this is the worst timing possible.
Please keep me in your thoughts. Sorry to AW it up, I just needed to reach out because I feel utterly alone right now.

Ladies, I can't tell you how much it helped to have all you amazing mamas at my back. My OB did an abdominal ultrasound and baby boy is fine, good heart rate at 168 and squirming all over. They didn't see an immediate cause of the bleeding. When I arrived they said what they were most worried about was placenta previa or placental abruption but there are no signs of either luckily. OB did a visual exam as well and said that my cervix was closed so no threatened miscarriage, but that there was something that looked like scar tissue along the edge of it. No one has ever mentioned that to me before. She said it could just be an odd irritation from sex (which, we did have last week for the first time since BFP) but that she'll want to take a look next week.
They gave me a progesterone shot, though I'm not sure exactly why. I'm really not great at going to appointments alone because I often miss information like that.
BUT bottom line: nothing major wrong. Taking a wait and see approach. My doctor was pretty optimistic, especially because the bleeding has slowed considerably since the first gush.
Thank you thank you thank you for all the support. I return all the creepy internet hugs very gratefully. My sister is going to come have a sleepover with me tonight to help with the animals and make sure I'm OK.

Unfortunately my family is all off teaching this afternoon.
The bleeding has lightened up a bit, but I did soak a (lightweight) pad really quickly.
I really appreciate all the good thoughts. I'll update when I know more.
