Easy fold thingy on strollers

Future MIL took me out to pick out the stroller combo set. Yea that easy fold thing on them is the most amazing thing invented! Whoever came up with it is a genius, just saying.Lol sorry but I got very excited when I tested it out and realized how easy it really was. They didnt have this 7 and 10 years ago when I had my last two kids.

  • Aw don't be. Have you gotten a stroller yet? Or already had one?

I have a few strollers, lol. But they are all from my 1st, 8 years ago

Edit: OK.. first and second, 5 years ago. Still before the time of the easy fold!
  • We got a Graco fast action easy fold. Only one hand needed. I found myself doing the same time playing around with it lol.
  • We got the baby jogger city mini zip. It folds up small enough to easily fit in the trunk of SO's VW Beetle! Love the one-handed fold.

If I still had my original stroller, I would most likely be using it(i had one single and one double- the double was a pain in my butt but a life saver too). I was going to go to this awesome childrens consignment shop to find a stroller originally but future MIL was insistent on buying me and fiance' the stroller/carseat set so I wasn't going to argue. Most other items (baby swing, baby bedding, entertainment play thing) are all purchased gently used items or handmedowns from other people. I have a hard time convincing myself to spend money on things I know I can find at a better deal.

That's awesome! It makes me wish we hadn't held on to our strollers so long, lol. ;) But my youngest is just 3 now, so I guess we've still been kind of using them. There were a few things we had to rebuy. I got a cheaper pack n play (with good reviews), a new baby carrier, a car seat (also on sale) and a swing on clearance. Those are the things I had to spend a lot on. And when I bought the pack n play and the baby carrier I got a free baby monitor. That was a good score!
  • By any chance was that at babies r us when you scored the baby monitor? We scored a free one too when we purchased the crib.
  • I love finding great items on clearance/on sale!
  • I actually like the way the stroller I had for DD 7 years ago folded better than any ones they have now. It was a Graco (can't remember the model)...but it folded upright with the handle and cup holders on top, and I could lift it easier and roll it into the back of my SUV. But, I used that till I couldn't anymore! So we got another Graco...I think it's called Modes Click Connect. So I like the fact that I can take out the seat and just click the carrier into the frame. And it rolls so smoothly! Can't wait to use it!!!

This is the stroller we plan to get. We're first time parents and inspecting this stroller so hard trying to figure out how to fold it. Employee comes by, pushes one little thing and snap, its folded ha! We're like oh, this be the one! And it really is very smooth :)
