MIL and an ex of DH's

So on facebook MIL and one of DH's ex's are friends.  I saw MIL tell the ex that she misses her too and she would love to get together for her for lunch sometime.  Now I realize this isn't a big deal at all but MIL makes little to no effort for me or even DS for that matter.......UGH, the woman just bugs me so this kinda irks me more than it should.

    What a B!tch. That would make me so mad. My SIL and BIL still talk to my husbands ex and it erks me.

    Your MIL must know mine. ?She saw DH's ex at the grocery store and told DH. ?He said "why are you talking to that crazy girl?" ?she replied "she's not crazy, I like her" ?She has never mentioned liking me and I'm not really sure she does.

    I understand the frustration. My ILs are really close to DH's first wife. So much that they even converted to Catholisism (sp) because she was converting. They go to lunch with her & her fiance often. I don't really mind, but I do think it's odd. I'm sure MIL likes her more than she likes me but I'm pretty sure FIL is only nice to her because MIL is. It's crazy. I'll be glad to move and get away from MIL & the ex-wife, honestly. I will miss FIL, though.
