What kind of projects are you currently working on? With the holidays fast approaching anything special on the list of things to make? What are some things you want to make for the first time?
I started crocheting recently and I have a long list of gifts to make! I am currently making a new winter hat for DD though. I plan on learning how to line it with fleece so it is super warm. Here are some things I will be making holiday gifts...
scarf x 3
hats x 3
shawl x 1
bearded hat x 3
I am very excited to see my two bothers open their beard hats, they have a good sense of humor and live in Jackson Hole WY so the face cover will come in handy!
I want to learn to make mittens and fingerless hand covers!

I'm making the same leg warmers for my brother's girlfriend, too. I already made a pairfor myself, so I know how awesome they are!
My Chart
I'm working on a full-sized quilt for my parents, so that's the only home-made present this year. Let's see if I can break the family tradition of projects not being done on time!
I also have plans for a smaller quilt for me, and then some baby blankets, both quilted and crocheted. (I'd love to do some craft shows next fall). I love the corner to corner crochet pattern for baby blankets. Ravelry is my friend for patterns. I may have also unearthed the knitting machines this weekend...not sure when I'd fit playing with that though.

I need to finish my king size blanket, a John Deere baby blanket, a chevron cranny square baby blanket, I want to make DS a Monsters University scarf that I just found a pattern for and some mittens. I have a shit ton to work on! Plus I thought about crocheting our Christmas stockings this year if I have time.
I taught myself to crochet on YouTube as well. It was a mess at first but after a while it came very easily.

@GetzySark You are welcome! The quilt I'm doing now wouldn't have happened without that link (which I found buried on a site linked on pinterest). I love that I can figure out how much fabric I need based on one block.
@bishopsrook I'd love to see those mittens & hat! I made DH a Totoro dice bag for his b-day a few years ago:

I'm also making a queen quilt for our bed in a subway tile pattern, but it doesn't have a deadline.
I love crafting. I am a preschool teacher, so my hot glue gun is always out! I don't have any holiday crafts planned yet. TB has replaced my pinterest obsession (for the time being).
