This is a check-in for those who are doing IVF/IVM or FET with an ER/ET scheduled for November. If you are interested in joining, please fill us in on your cycle below. Please include what cycle number this is for you, where you are in the process, when you expect to start stims, and when you're planning on retrieval and transfer. Also, please update us along the way!

Hello Ladies,

Congrats to the BFP and PUPO ladies! Sending all of you happy thoughts!

AFM - Had my first PIO shot yesterday. Usually I do not think their bad, but that one hurt. I am pretty sure my DH was too low. Then to top it off I have a huge welt. We were worried last month I may be allergic to the sesame oil. Last month it took over a week of shots before my butt broke out in a rash. Aren't I so lucky. I sent an email with a picture to my nurse to get her advice. We decided to stay on the sesame oil since it was really the only thing my insurance covered and saved us like $300. When your all OOP $300 helps. This morning was much better and DH seemed to go in the right spot. Heating it now!

I have another U/S tomorrow to verify lining thickness and the fluid is gone. If all goes well Wednesday is our ET!! Can't wait!

QOTD - I love to take walks as one of my coping skills. I also talk to all of you to help me feel normal and not insane! I also love to dance or sing when I am stressed. I am not good at either but belting out Kelly Clarks Stronger keeps me focused!!! Lastly playing with my puppy makes me feel better.

Hello!

We are awaiting our 5dt transfer tomorrow. I had a stressful weekend, we did not get a very good 2 day report, but our embies caught up and were on track on day 3 so the plan is a 5dt tomorrow.

@cwoodward777 Fx for your transfer on Wednesday! I hope that the PIO shots go better!

Sitting at the RE waiting for E2 bloodwork. Then back to work after a lot of bed rest and relaxing this weekend. PIO shots are getting better but I am still sore. I have random cramping that comes and goes hoping that is good signs?!?! Need it to be the 24th ASAP for beta test. I definitely need to stay busy this week.

QOTD- I love acupuncture to relax. Also just relaxing. Watching tv shows taking with DH.

Hi Tiny Turkeys!

ER was yesterday and they retrieved 10 eggs. The first report was 8 mature and they were watching the other 2, but I got a message from my nurse that one of the 2 was mature,. So right now a total of 9 mature eggs and they were still watching the 10th to see if it would mature in the lab. I'm waiting on my fert report to hear how many of the mature eggs fertilized.

I am 1dp5dt (one poor quality blast and two morulas). I'm on bedrest until midday tomorrow. I am suppose to have my beta on 11/26, but I am working the entire time the labs in my area are open. I asked the nurse if I could move it up one day and she said that was fine. So, beta will be 11/25/2014. I won't be able to go until around the time my REs office closes so I won't get the results until the next day. For IVF#1 I started spotting at 7dp5dt, so I am going to at least wait until then before I start to POAS.

QOTW: I tend to just keep myself busy, so I don't have time to dwell on things.

Ahhh we have another BFP!!! Congrats @Nutmed8484. I hope your betas continue to double.

Congrats also to all those PUPO (so many!!!)

AFM, still going on with the Del Estrogen. Thanksgiving is coming up so soon! I know many of you will be having first beta by then. I have my first lining check on Thursday. I had a small amount of fluid on the uterus at my baseline, but I hope that it hasn't gotten worse since. If all looks good with my lining and BW, I will start my PIO on Thursday night, for a transfer on Tuesday. I feel so nervous. I didn't even feel this nervous during IVF 1.2. I guess it's because I feel all of the emotions of the possible outcomes. Excitement, happiness, anxiety, fear.

Other than that though, I am feeling good!! The DE has been going really well, though with all the discussion about injection location, now I'm worried DH is not aiming at the right spot. My nurse didn't have time to draw the spots for me when we started, but I went off of memory from my trigger for the last IVF. I plan to have them draw for the rear and thigh when I go in on Thursday before the PIO. I cannot afford to have that one hurt. I have to travel for business in my 2WW, so DH wont be there. One day I'll have to give both the DE and the PIO, so I think I will do thigh when I'm by myself.

Hi ladies....I'm on mobile so my formatting will be off. I posted on the main board so I will give a quick update. Last week I was not responding well....on Friday I had two good follies with the possibility of a third catching up. My re said not to expect more and also to be prepared to get zero due to my amh. Well, we retrieved 6!!!!! My re was blown away....we were blown away. We are very hopeful and now I am just anxiously waiting my fert report. Qotw: exercising or eating

Good Morning everyone!

Today was my beta, now I wait until about 2pm. Though I caved at about 3am on Saturday and I took a test, it was negative. Maybe my numbers were too low to be detected, so we shall see later today.

Happy to see another BFP, always helps to read good news.

My ET is planned for Wednesday!!! We have 3 perfect embies and 5 that are ahead of the game (my embryologist said this could be a sign of chromosomal abnormalities??). I honestly cannot get my mind off of the little ones.

QOTD: I have loved acupuncture and podcast meditations as a coping mechanism throughout this process. Also, my acupuncturist encourages warm foot baths every night so I've been doing that while also listening to a meditation or relaxing music. My understanding is that in Chinese Medicine warming your feet increases blood flow throughout your body (ie Uterus!!) and balances your energy.

Yet another BFN for me. It's not totally official yet, I'm waiting for my beta results, but I had negative FRER yesterday (9dp3dt) and today. It's becoming clear that there is a serious egg quality issue. WTF appointment scheduled for next Monday, so disappointed and not sure where to go from here.

Just got the call ET is today. I'm bummed because I thought I'd be a 5 day transfer. I'm not sure if its because I told them to transfer 2 embryos or if of the 4 mature and fertilized if I lost a couple. So now I'm rushing to shower and go grocery shopping since I'll be on bed rest and I leave in about 1 1/2 to drive up to my transfer.

How many did you all transfer?

I cope by reading, watching tv and cross stitching. Anything to keep my hands busy from eating!

It's great to see so much good news! Congrats to all the BFPs and PUPOs! Good luck to those of you with upcoming ETs and ERs! Also, hugs to those who need them!

AFM- I finally feel less crampy. However, I couldn't keep my breakfast down this morning (TMI). I know it's too early for morning sickness so I'm guessing I have a touch of the flu. Hopefully it doesn't stick around too long. I'm just patiently waiting for the 26th. I'm planning on going beta or bust!

QOTD: cleaning is my stress reliever. DH always knows when I've had a stressful day. The entire house will shine lol. I guess it just keeps me busy and takes my mind off of whatever is bothering me.

@wcasar We trasnferred 1 poor quality blast and 2 morulas. For IVF 1 we transferred 1 poor quality blast and 1 morula and got a BFN. We went ahead and and transferred 3 this time since last time resulted in a BFN and the likelihood of our morula making it to blast was very low. DH and I would be more than happy with twins. Triplets would be a bit much, but we were told the likelihood was very low due to the quality.

I had my ER on Saturday and they retrieved 29, 26 were mature, 3 were immature, and 17 fertilized with ICSI, and they were watching 4 more to see if they made fertilized. I have an ET scheduled for Thursday morning.

@Wcasar - Slow down. Breathe! It is going to be awesome today! GL! We have chosen to transfer 2 each time since we are good with twins. Most doctors advise in no more than 2.

@wcasar Good luck today! Sorry you were caught off guard by your transfer being moved up. I transferred two, but my RE said if we got pregnant we would have a 30%+ chance of having twins, so don't transfer two unless you'd be ok with that! :-)

AFM, We did a 5-day transfer of two blasts this morning! We have two additional blasts to freeze as of now, and five morulas that they are watching to see if they make it to freeze. :-) Even if none of the others make it to freeze, we're feeling happy.

QOTD: Circle + Bloom guided meditation, long drives, seeing a therapist a couple of times a month, and generally just trying to cut out anything not completely necessary.

Good morning ladies!!

Congrats to all of those with BFPs and PUPO! So excited for y'all! And FX for all of those with their ET & ER coming up soon!

AFM - I am officially PUPO.

We had our transfer of 2 day 5 blasts on Friday. The transfer day didn't start off so great though...I woke up at 2 am on the day of transfer with a UTI (I'm very prone to getting them). I was so upset and wasn't able to go back to sleep because I was sure they were going to cancel us and was worried about what would happen to our embryos if they had already thawed them out. I was finally able to get ahold of my nurse at 8 am and she said the doctor didn't seem to think it would be a problem and that they would confirm and give me some antibiotics when I came in for my appointment. After that we were very relieved and everything went great with transfer! Didn't feel a thing and our Dr. even put on some fun music for us while he was doing the transfer! We are really hoping that the antibiotics don't affect implantation or anything, but the doctor assured us they should be fine. So on to the waiting game for us! Beta is scheduled for Nov. 28th, and I think I'm going to try to hold out until at least next weekend to test.

QOTD: I downloaded an IVF relaxation cd on itunes, and it definitely helps me to destress. I usually get so relaxed that I end up falling asleep half way through.

AFM: today it was my ER, unfortunately I didn't have as many eggs as I wanted.. Only 3. I was really sad about it but I am trying to stay positive.. I really wanted to try an ET this time, let's see if it will happen..

Fert report in: of 6 eggs, 5 were mature, and 4 fertilized. Now we are trying to decide whether to do pgs or not. I'm just terrified of losing some to freezing. The np is calling me after clinic to discuss. @mariana81‌ I'm rooting for your three!

Fert report is in. 10 retrieved, 10 mature, 7 fertilized normally. I was hoping for a few more since embryo quality is an issue for us, but we can work with 7. Now I just need a good day 3 report on Wednesday.

Congrats to all the PUPO ladies! Good luck to everybody wherever you are at in your cycles!

AFM: Just waiting for BETA on Wednesday for the official BFN so we can start the conversation about next steps. DH has his mind set on a new fresh cycle. I get where he is coming from and agree it is probably the right way to go... but I was really hoping not to have to go through that again with 12 frosties. But we've burned through half our embryos now with nothing not show for it and I am not getting any younger. *sigh* At least we have about $650 worth of Bravelle left over from last time to help reduce costs... Sorry, just feeling a little down.

Beta is Monday. We transfered 3 not so great embryos on Thursday, I'm trying to hold onto to hope but it's hard, especially since I'll get the news a few days before Thanksgiving. I haven't read of anyone getting 3 transfered, makes me even less hopeful. Good luck to everyone.

@RG1979‌ I had an ovarian assessment report run on cd3. It showed I had low amh...it can also show you have high fsh. This is all really new to me so I don't know the details but these numbers can give the re a picture of your egg quantity and quality, I also had multiple losses which also made my re think that I had quality issues.

*****maybe BFP mentioned***** Hi girls! Being as impatient as I am... I POAS.... Very faint positive (6dpt) but I will take it! Beta is Thursday. Oh and TMI... I have vaginal suppository as backup when I can't find anyone willing and able to shove a 1.5 inch needle in my backside (because my husband is traveling, story of my life).... Did it for the first time and accidentally coughed about 20 minutes later. Makes me LOL just typing it. Not a pleasant thing to do. Moral of the story... Avoid vaginal suppositories when you are suffering from allergies. Just trust me.

ET went well. On my way home (no I'm not driving). I transferred 2 that were top grade (4) 8s. They seemed happy with the size and grade so I'm hopeful. Officially in 2 week waiting!!!

@RG1979‌ when they do 3 day bloodwork they test your FSH and your AMH, this gives them an idea of you ovarian reserve. I had the cycle day 3 bloodwork done twice, once in April and then again right before starting this IVF. It showed everything great, they even said on paper I look like a 30 year old (just turned 39), so I went into this thinking I had plenty of good eggs, then the day of ET I had poor embryos, so it came as a shock. What I've learned (could be wrong), your bloodwork is an indicator but you could still have crappy eggs, or it could have just been they didn't get any good ones this cycle, who knows? My guess is I have more bad eggs than good.

I'm still in the 2WW. Beta isn't until the 25th. I did break down and POAS. I couldn't help it. BFN, obviously. It's so early. I'm only 7dp2dt. I justified doing it because I wanted to make sure I tested out the trigger shot. Because that way, if I get a BFP I can get excited because I'll know it's real. The things we tell ourselves!

I will say that the whole eating out thing while PUPO is a pain! Not even just the no alcohol thing, but we went out to brunch and eggs benedict is my favorite, which of course I can't eat.
