  @SweetTurnip‌ 'm glad that you know better and know how to access resources but other people may not have literally anyone else to turn to our anyone that encourages their breastfeeding, and that's what upsets me. I have to deal with it from my MIL all the time. Once it let to an argument between her and SO that led to her saying LO probably wasn't his baby. LO is mixed and very pale so that's a very soft spot for SO.

  LO only asked to nurse while saying good night to everyone (we're staying at my mom's/grandparents) but not at all while I was rocking him. It's his third night without it and I'm surprised how well it's going. Nap time was a little rough and he asks a lot during they day but seems to accept when I say it's all gone and it hurts his belly (so thank you so much for whoever mentioned that!).
  
  Tl;dr weaning is not as bad as I thought it would be and I really appreciate all your encouragement and advice

  When I was 20ish my BFF (at the time) & I lived in a duplex together for a year. It was basically a revolving door of sex drugs & alcohol. I had so many good times in that place that I will never ever be able to confess to because I have such vuage memories of it. But it was good times, no doubt.

  I'm apparently in the mood for confessions. I have no idea what my number is but it's probably over 30. I would have to make a list but I know I wouldn't remember them all. I've always been safe but I'm surprised that I only had one BC failure.

  Our random drug screens at work came thru this week, so I know it'll be another 3-4 weeks before we have another set. My big girls are spending the night at grandmas tomorrow night & I will totally be hitting up the garage after the 2 littles go to bed.

  I have a depressing one too. My moms fiancé got here from Indiana (where they are both from, they went to jr high together and reconnected on FB) and she was cleaning out drawers for him and found some stuff from my dad that she put in a bigger box under her bed.
  
  Tonight I saw a suicide note he wrote before his first attempt (idk how many there were, a lot) for the first time. I showed LO his picture and explained it was mama's daddy. I saw his wallet and read a couple sympathy cards. I had to walk out of the room to go cry in the bathroom. My mom didn't come check and see if I was okay and stayed in the room with her fiancé. Now I want to go get the box and look through his things and torture myself.

  Wow @pobrecita‌ that is so incredibly difficult. My grandma has dementia, I can't imagine that happening to my own mother. It's actually my biggest fear. I'm sorry.

  @triplea598‌ ((hugs)) I have the same worries about passing something on to DS. But if I do, I know that my struggles will help me be able to relate to him, and maybe that's why we're going through it. You're still here because that sweet little soul needed a wonderful mama like you.

  @triplea598‌ . I hope you can use that note you found as a reminder. That even when it seemed nothing could be worse and there was nothing worth looking forward to in the future, there was. You just didn't know it yet. That there will be so much love and people who care in your future. Always. Maybe DS will find out when he is older, but that doesn't have to be a horrible thing. Don't be ashamed. You survived and got help. That is commendable, not shameful. You are still here because your story was not over.
  
  I hope this didn't come off the wrong way. I will admit I am not well educated in mental health issues. I just don't want you to feel badly about your past.

  I really struggle with moderation in all things. Food is one too. It's hard not to fall in to old habits with hubby's Christmas party coming up, a skin fitting dress and a flabby post-second baby body.
  
  I hide when it comes to fight or flight.
  
  My number is countable on one hand.
  
  I don't know if any of this is good or bad.
