Just heard from the RE. Out of out 7 embryos, 3 have been biopsied for PGS and frozen. 3 are slightly behind but if they continue to grow to blast they will biopsy and freeze them too. 1 stopped growing. I'll know more tomorrow about our 3 slackers
Congrats to all PUPO, and Good luck to all betweeen ER/ET.
AFM: I am triggering tonight at 8pm for retrieval on Saturday at 8 AM. we will have to leave at 3am to get to the clinic by 7 am. I am excited, nervous, and scared for the ER.
Thanks @mariana81 for the info. I did see that. I was curious to see if any ladies have done it. @kristyn831 Thanks for the feedback. I do think we will do the Eeva study. I'm not sure if they place us in a group or not. I'll have to ask before my transfer tomorrow morning. No, not at BWH. I'm in California. So maybe I'm not part of a study group but they may just have access to the machine for a specific length of time. Who knows. Good luck to all, where ever you are in the Tiny Turkey process!

@NariaDreaming - I'm so sorry about your cycle! Hopefully you can try again with better results.
So happy to see so many are retrieving and transferring with good numbers.
I'm 6dp5dt and so far all negatives on my hpts. I'm trying to stay positive but every day without a positive I lose some hope. Praying for a good beta on Wednesday.

Our one embryo was abnormal. They got the PGS results in one day. I'm sad but not as much as when only one of our three made it to day five. Anyone have tips for what to do next?
@Marissa6609 *hugs* back Thank you... I'm very happy for you that you have several to test! Hopefully, your other three will catch up! I'll be thinking about you.... When you did a second round, what did you change to your cycle?
@ssoennin - first cycle started w 300 iu follistim and 5 units low dose hcg. Increased to 450 follistim and 10 units low dose throughout cycle. Triggered w hcg and 450 follistim. Second cycle started w 600iu follistim and 20 units low dose hcg for 5 days, dropped to 75 iu follistim and kept 20 units low dose. Triggered w lupron and 200 units low dose hcg. Overall just different amounts of meds and switched trigger. The interesting thing is that round 1 my E2 was only 550 at trigger and out of 6 retrieved, 5 were mature and 5 fertilized (2 5dt and 1 frozen). Round 2 my E2 was about 2300 w 12 retrieved, 9 mature and 7 fertilized. As you know 1 have 3 frosties so far from round 2 with 3 pending.

@alpCRNA - I'm rooting for you to get awesome news on your Day 3 report tomorrow!
AFM: it's been a wild ride for sure. I'm starting to believe that the donor eggs are going to work for us. And all the extra effort we've put in implementing Dr. KK's protocol... I hope it makes a positive difference. The cliffs notes version of our cycle so far:
15-20 pills a day
2-3 injections a day
2-3 blood draws a week
2-3 doctors appointments a week
1 IVIg infusion a week
It's a lot. But so far, I can say that it's worth it. Our donor seems to have hooked us up, but we'll see when the final report comes in on Sunday. So far, we've got 19R, 17M, 17F. We're praying for two golden ninja embryos in this batch. Anything more would be an incredible blessing. All we need is one, but two would mean that we're set for life. I would love to have additional frosties for reassurance and possibly to try for siblings. And it would be amazing to have frosties to donate after this is all said and done. The experience with the donor... I get so emotional when I think about it. She has already given us such an incredible opportunity and hope... and if it results in our miracle?? There is no way we could possibly repay her for this life-changing gift. I'll spend the rest of my life paying it forward I have so much gratitude!
Good luck to all the ladies waiting for ET! This group is getting really exciting!
I went in for my 1st U/S on Wednesday and I have about 10 follies hanging out. We were hoping for more but the Dr. said there are a few small ones he isn't counting just yet. We compared my last cycle with the stats of this cycle and the new protocol seems to be working since they were at a better size. He upped my meds to 3 Bravelle instead of 2 now in the morning. My next appointment is on Saturday! I can't wait to see where I am at. I am expecting to trigger Monday or Tuesday.

I went today for us and b/w and my ER will be probably Monday, I am waiting for nurse's call to get the confirmation. I am worried if it is not too soon because last time all my eggs were immature :-S
blueeyes233 that's great, your ET is so close now!! Are you excited? FX for you!!!
RunCC37, It is really inspiring!! I have my whole body crossed for you and yours two little ninjas. You went through a long road and I believe it will all pay off in the end! Do you have any idea when it will be your ET?
Just got the call myself and I'm set for a Sunday transfer. She said that one embryo stopped growing but 14 were still growing strong. She said, "you have some 6, 8s and even 10s in there!" I have no idea what that means, but she sounded happy about it.
Also a big congrats to all of those with awesome ER fert reports and who are PUPO!!!
Some awesome retrievals and fert rates, you are my idols!!
@ssoennin I am so sorry to hear about your embie, I don't have any advice, but hope that your RE can help you regroup for another try.
@Nariadreaming I'm so sorry that you ended up cancelled *kicks something on your behalf*. Please keep us all updated on your next steps.
(((HUGS))) to everyone of you who needs them.
AFM, nothing much happening. Still on Del Estrogen every 3 days. I have tweaked my injection prep and technique a bit, and that has helped with the soreness dramatically!! I think the first inject DH aimed a bit too low. So now before each shot, I ice only a specific area, and tell him to aim at the red skin only! So far two separate injections on each side have left me with really no lasting soreness at all. I also have started massaging the area for about 2-3 mins after he gives it, and that has helped as well. But how I feel about all this may change when I go from once every 3 days to up to once or even twice daily. Boo!! (
My next appt for a lining check and BW is Nov. 20th.
Update: We are officially being pushed to 5dt Sunday. I was told we still have 13 embryos growing, but I asked for more detail. We have 1-8 cell, 5-7 cells, 2-6 cells, 3-5 cells and 2-4 cells. I'm hoping and praying for good quality blasts on Sunday.
It seems we have several Tiny Turkeys with Sunday transfers. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of us. @carrieharry79@blueeyes233@RunCC37

Had another monitoring appointment today. I have 31 follies between 2mm and 8 mm, so obviously I am no where even close yet! As long as they don't call me tonight I should still be on 200 IU of Puregon. I chose a better pair of pants today lol so bloat isn't bugging me this morning like it did yesterday! I'll go back on Sunday and see how my follies are doing. Back to work I go!

OK back to blood bank I go for real now. Break is over

@SweetieShellieHThat's too funny about testing new reagents. When I had my BFP in Feb. we were switching reagents so I did serial betas for the patient control. you must be switching to the same HCG5 reagent. I haven't yet been able to make it to beta so good luck beating temptation!

Hey turkey's! I'm still feeling pretty uncomfortable from ER. It's been 2 days. Is this normal? I'm nervous for transfer tomorrow since I'm still crampy. I started endometrin, lovenox, and baby aspirin yesterday! I'm staying hopeful that my two embryos are good quality and that at least one of them will stick!
Well, we are officially converted to a freeze all. My lining was actually a bit thinner than yesterday. My RE wants to repeat my SIS and has thrown out endometritis and infection of the lining as reasons why my lining isn't building despite many meds and copius amounts of estrogen.
On the follie side we are still doing good. I stopped counting but I think there were 10+ follies on the right most were 17-22mm but a few were smaller around 13mm. On the left I still have 7 or 8 in teh 17-22mm range. I am triggering tonight and my ER will be on Sunday.

Twinkie0612 how do you feel about this (freezing all)? I heard that most of the clinics have better results with FET than fresh transfers... On the follies side you have great numbers, that's great!!!
Had my ER today. My part went smoothly. My hubby on the other hand was a nervous wreck and didn't sleep at all last night because he was stressed. Then he was throwing up on the way to my appointment. But somehow he was able to perform. Yay! Who knows how the number's will be but as long as we have a couple live swimmers I'll be happy. We are doing ICSI. They retrieved 7 from me. I was hoping for more but I'll take it. Should know more when they call tomorrow. Now just at home resting with my hot pad.

I really, really hope this is it for you! You have so much going for you this

I hate though that they don't give updates. I won't know anything about how many we still have or quality until right before the transfer.
@lebradford I'm at home today and purposely didn't get a HPT so I wouldn't even be tempted but, I have to work all weekend where I just sit around and think about how easy it would be. I work in a lab where I can run my own Beta. I'm hoping to be able to hold out until Sunday.

TTC #1 since August 2011

@RunCC37 I’m so glad you’re starting to feel more confident. I really, really hope this is it for you! You have so much going for you this cycle!! I loved what you said about being so grateful for your donor.

@mariana81 I have everything crossed for you that you have some mature eggs in there!! I know this must be a really stressful time for you right now.
@Nutmeg8484 You work at a lab where you can run your own beta?! Ahh!! How do you resist?? Ok, ok. I wish you luck holding out. ;-)
@blushingbride317 The day after ER I was still pretty uncomfortable, but today at two days after, I am feeling pretty good. I still don’t want to move fast or lift much, but I even forgot to take my Tylenol until an hour later than I could have. I’d imagine it just varies a lot!!
@RG1979 Yay for making it to a 5-day transfer!!
@wcasar Oh, no! I’m sorry your husband was such a mess! My husband had a pretty hard time too! I don’t think he slept at all the night before ER. He was even having heart palpitations. O_o At least they got their part of the job done! I hope he is feeling better now. Good luck with your fert report!
