  • Thanks @mariana81‌ for the info. I did see that. I was curious to see if any ladies have done it. @kristyn831‌ Thanks for the feedback. I do think we will do the Eeva study. I'm not sure if they place us in a group or not. I'll have to ask before my transfer tomorrow morning. No, not at BWH. I'm in California. So maybe I'm not part of a study group but they may just have access to the machine for a specific length of time. Who knows. Good luck to all, where ever you are in the Tiny Turkey process!

So happy to see so many are retrieving and transferring with good numbers.

I'm 6dp5dt and so far all negatives on my hpts. I'm trying to stay positive but every day without a positive I lose some hope. Praying for a good beta on Wednesday.

  • Our one embryo was abnormal. They got the PGS results in one day. I'm sad but not as much as when only one of our three made it to day five. Anyone have tips for what to do next?

  • @Marissa6609 *hugs* back Thank you... I'm very happy for you that you have several to test! Hopefully, your other three will catch up! I'll be thinking about you.... When you did a second round, what did you change to your cycle?
  • @ssoennin‌ - first cycle started w 300 iu follistim and 5 units low dose hcg. Increased to 450 follistim and 10 units low dose throughout cycle. Triggered w hcg and 450 follistim. Second cycle started w 600iu follistim and 20 units low dose hcg for 5 days, dropped to 75 iu follistim and kept 20 units low dose. Triggered w lupron and 200 units low dose hcg. Overall just different amounts of meds and switched trigger.
The interesting thing is that round 1 my E2 was only 550 at trigger and out of 6 retrieved, 5 were mature and 5 fertilized (2 5dt and 1 frozen). Round 2 my E2 was about 2300 w 12 retrieved, 9 mature and 7 fertilized. As you know 1 have 3 frosties so far from round 2 with 3 pending.

How cool that we have our first Tiny Turkey BFP!! Congrats Giants :)

@alpCRNA - I'm rooting for you to get awesome news on your Day 3 report tomorrow!

AFM: it's been a wild ride for sure. I'm starting to believe that the donor eggs are going to work for us. And all the extra effort we've put in implementing Dr. KK's protocol... I hope it makes a positive difference. The cliffs notes version of our cycle so far:

    15-20 pills a day
    2-3 injections a day
    2-3 blood draws a week
    2-3 doctors appointments a week
    1 IVIg infusion a week

It's a lot. But so far, I can say that it's worth it. Our donor seems to have hooked us up, but we'll see when the final report comes in on Sunday. So far, we've got 19R, 17M, 17F. We're praying for two golden ninja embryos in this batch. Anything more would be an incredible blessing. All we need is one, but two would mean that we're set for life. I would love to have additional frosties for reassurance and possibly to try for siblings. And it would be amazing to have frosties to donate after this is all said and done. The experience with the donor... I get so emotional when I think about it. She has already given us such an incredible opportunity and hope... and if it results in our miracle?? There is no way we could possibly repay her for this life-changing gift. I'll spend the rest of my life paying it forward <3 I have so much gratitude!

    Love your attitude! FX

  • Wow, so so much activity in here!!

Congrats to our first BFP @Giant721 !!

Also a big congrats to all of those with awesome ER fert reports and who are PUPO!!!

Some awesome retrievals and fert rates, you are my idols!! ;)

@ssoennin I am so sorry to hear about your embie, I don't have any advice, but hope that your RE can help you regroup for another try.

@Nariadreaming I'm so sorry that you ended up cancelled *kicks something on your behalf*. Please keep us all updated on your next steps.

(((HUGS))) to everyone of you who needs them.

AFM, nothing much happening. Still on Del Estrogen every 3 days. I have tweaked my injection prep and technique a bit, and that has helped with the soreness dramatically!! I think the first inject DH aimed a bit too low. So now before each shot, I ice only a specific area, and tell him to aim at the red skin only! So far two separate injections on each side have left me with really no lasting soreness at all. I also have started massaging the area for about 2-3 mins after he gives it, and that has helped as well. But how I feel about all this may change when I go from once every 3 days to up to once or even twice daily. Boo!! :((

My next appt for a lining check and BW is Nov. 20th.

  • @carrieharry79‌ yay for transfer buddies. 6, 8, & 10 means the number of cells the embryos have. All good for day 3

  • Had another monitoring appointment today. I have 31 follies between 2mm and 8 mm, so obviously I am no where even close yet! As long as they don't call me tonight I should still be on 200 IU of Puregon. I chose a better pair of pants today lol so bloat isn't bugging me this morning like it did yesterday! I'll go back on Sunday and see how my follies are doing. Back to work I go!

  • @lebradford I'm at home today and purposely didn't get a HPT so I wouldn't even be tempted but, I have to work all weekend where I just sit around and think about how easy it would be. I work in a lab where I can run my own Beta. I'm hoping to be able to hold out until Sunday.

@Nutmeg8484‌ I've done it in the lab I work at. I'm hoping I won't cave, I'm usually pretty good. I'm nowhere near that point yet though. We have boxes and boxes of Preg tests plus an Access2 to run betas on. I told my team leader that after I trigger they can use me as a positive control to validate our new reagent lol. OK back to blood bank I go for real now. Break is over

  • @SweetieShellieHThat's too funny about testing new reagents. When I had my BFP in Feb. we were switching reagents so I did serial betas for the patient control. you must be switching to the same HCG5 reagent. I haven't yet been able to make it to beta so good luck beating temptation!

  • Well, we are officially converted to a freeze all.  My lining was actually a bit thinner than yesterday.  My RE wants to repeat my SIS and has thrown out endometritis and infection of the lining as reasons why my lining isn't building despite many meds and copius amounts of estrogen.

On the follie side we are still doing good.  I stopped counting but I think there were 10+ follies on the right most were 17-22mm but a few were smaller around 13mm.  On the left I still have 7 or 8 in teh 17-22mm range.  I am triggering tonight and my ER will be on Sunday.

  • @RunCC37 I’m so glad you’re starting to feel more confident. I really, really hope this is it for you! You have so much going for you this cycle!! I loved what you said about being so grateful for your donor. <3<3<3

@mariana81 I have everything crossed for you that you have some mature eggs in there!! I know this must be a really stressful time for you right now.

@Nutmeg8484 You work at a lab where you can run your own beta?! Ahh!! How do you resist?? Ok, ok. I wish you luck holding out. ;-)

@blushingbride317 The day after ER I was still pretty uncomfortable, but today at two days after, I am feeling pretty good. I still don’t want to move fast or lift much, but I even forgot to take my Tylenol until an hour later than I could have. I’d imagine it just varies a lot!!

@RG1979 Yay for making it to a 5-day transfer!!

@wcasar Oh, no! I’m sorry your husband was such a mess! My husband had a pretty hard time too! I don’t think he slept at all the night before ER. He was even having heart palpitations. O_o At least they got their part of the job done! I hope he is feeling better now. Good luck with your fert report!
