Packing up the car to road trip so LO can see my parents and meet the extended family. I forsee a day or nursing in random gas station parking lots in the middle of nowhere...
DH decided to put C down for a nap last night when he got home from work. Well, he thought that he could just swaddle her, put her down in the RnP and she would magically fall asleep on her own. I just stared at him and then wished him luck as I went to take a shower. 55 minutes later (long shower and took care of several chores), C was still not asleep and DH had gained a new appreciation for what I do all day. I took pity on them and feed C as she was starting to give hungery cues.

Coffee sounds amazing! I was up until 1 and then up again from 4 am - now (6am) feeding. He thinks he can just slowly suck on a bottle for hours. He finished one and wanted another like this is a buffet.
Very long night here! Alex had another screaming fit from 10pm until 2:30am! She was crazy! Nursing would only temporally pacify her, nothing was working. Drew slept through most of it, waking only to graze on the boob. Did a lot of tandem feeding & slept in the LaZBoy with the babes on my chest again! I don't think I'll ever get them back in the PnP at night!

Lo has a stuffy nose so he is fighting sleeping this morning. I just want a little nap. Praying that he complies after his next bottle. Humidifier is on right nextra to him.
Oh and the cat is puking...again. tgif. I will let DH take this shift tomorrow morning.
I haven't been posting on here much since like halfway through pregnancy and joining the Facebook group but reading posts on here has saved my life this week n helped me not fall asleep while feeding my kid. So - hi.
DH and I aren't on good terms. After the fight over the MIL dramz and the debacle this morning over the alarm on his phone... it goes off at 4am. I had just gotten DD back down at 3:30. It started going off and he was scrambling around to turn it off. it was taking him forever. And it's loud. He finally goes "why is this thing still going off?!" While holding the unplugged alarm clock in his hand. I'm like "its your PHONE! JFC." And I proceeded to tell him that if she wakes up its all him. Luckily she didn't. But he stormed out of the room and slammed something. Havent heard from him since. Awesome.

You sound like a superhero to me!
Thanks doll! ;;) You know one thing I've learned about myself thus far is that I am a lot more patient then I ever thought possible! Not with anyone or anything else of course, just my offspring! Even my DH keeps reminding me of this, he says it's a miracle, thanks babe!

@MrsSinner402 Big hugs lady >:D< Sorry your having to deal with your grumpy DH! I didn't get to post on your MIL drama thread yet but I think you're doing the right thing for sure! They see you & LO any time they want! You & your family deserve some time together too! Go, enjoy yourself & don't give it a second thought! Your IL & DH will get over it!

@MrsSinner402 ((creepy Internet hugs)). I totally feel your pain On the holiday thing. We can't split days as our families are far apart but it was a struggle to figure out holidays for us even before dd. And DH always wanted more with his family even though we see them way more. And if yours is like mine, he got his panties in a twist and was cranky and will see the light soon. >:D<
Sitting in the waiting room at the pediatrician's office... Baby boy's poop is super solid. To the point that I changed his only poopy diaper yesterday and a poop pebble the size of my thumb tip fell out. Poor baby.
Oh no. I hope his is back to having poopslusions soon.
Seriously h just said I don't know what to Do with all my free time. I had to stop cleaning to feed the baby so you can sit and play on your kindle. WTF
Put LO to bed at 11pm, and she didn't get up until DH was leaving for work at 6:30am.... score.
I mean, we will be punished in the toddler years I'm sure, but I'm with you. We fed her at 8pm, 130am, husband woke her at 530 am to feed her before he went to work so she would sleep in for me, and I just fed her at 10.
This is the second day of him getting into a routine of feeding her before he goes to work and her letting me sleep until 9/10. This could work.

Did you proceed to karate chop his throat or...?
Can @Syllessa still hide bodies with all the snow in the way??
Someone talk to me about spanx. I'm not going to family gatherings without it over the holidays, because my size/weight will be scrutinized, and I'm not one of those women who will (ever) lose the weight and look the same. Yay genetics! I was told once that Target's brand was good (I don't think there is anywhere around here to try on actual spanx, so I'm looking for alternatives.). Anyone have advice?

If you have a JC Penney around, they have Spanx that I think you can try on. I don't know specifically about the Target brands, but I have had more than my fair share of experiences with body shapers in general. I would aim for an all-encompassing one. I have a band/tube for the stomach, but it either cuts into my hips or upper back. I also have one for the stomach and hips that look like shorts, but they aren't tall enough to cover my whole stomach.
I plan to invest in one like a swimsuit with shorts with the boob cutout. I think that would minimize my weird lumps and pooches the best.

I do have a JC Penney! I'll try there.
@cocomama1109 The one you posted is exactly what I'm looking for. I might order two sizes and return one.
I hate that I can't just be comfortable, but I tried on my work pants and they don't fit. I mean, even the ones from 5 years ago when I weighed 50 pounds over pre-pregnancy weight. I'm scared to get on the scale but I think I have to so I can monitor the progress or lack thereof and make adjustments. I'm not buying new pants.
Re: Randomize your Friday
Good excuse to get myself a Dunkin donuts coffee! Hell yes.
