@leelo9 not much? lol. It depends what you are looking for. There is an Early Years Centre, so that's great for the kids, dance classes, gymnastics, stuff like that as well. There's a small movie theatre, in the summer we have lots of nearby beaches to go to. Shopping (clothes etc) is pretty limited though.
Theres not a ton to "do" here. Like no nightlife or anything. But its wonderful for raising a family. If you drive, make sure to checkout the waterford playgroup. Tuesdays I think. Its really really good. Port Dover has one too, but I havent been to it.
We have the most beautiful beaches! My son and I go to Turkey Point every friday, all summer. Hes a beach bum.
Lots of little festivals, and nice little shops downtown.
It's an OK place to be. Just know that if you want a decent mall or Coscto or Target, you have to go to London or Hamilton,
Speaking of Hamilton, did anyone check out that maternity consignment shop yet?!

@Victoriarob@imustbeamermaid That's awesome ladies! Small world. My parents are south east of Mitchell, near Amulree (if you're familiar with tiny intersection hamlets.. haha).
New Brunswicker!!! This is our first and we are due June 7th. Getting a bit scared as our first prenatal is this Thursday. Hoping all goes well amd wishing everyone the best 9 months.
Hello! I thought I'd pick this conversation back up since 90% of the posts are American. Anyone else getting snow? In Toronto it's our second time so far this year. It stuck on the ground near my work.
I'm probably in the minority, but I love the snow! I saw our first flakes today and it made me want to bust out the Christmas music and drink hot chocolate!

I actually don't mind the snow either, especially now being a SAHM and I'm not driving every day lol! It was the drastic 'it's +9 last week and now it's -15 and windy' that happened in 2 days that I'm being a baby about at the moment haha! But will get used to it soon enough.
