@Clyde013, sorry for the bad night, mama. Hope that E feels better soon.
I thought that we had fixed my E's sleeplessness with discovering her ear infection last week. But she was up at 4 am yesterday and 12:30 am last night. DH bought her into bed with us and she eventually fell back asleep but only after playing with my hair and singing for about an hour. It was ridiculously cute but still, I kept thinking that I need that book - 'Go the F'ck to Sleep.'
Rough night here. Izzy kept moaning and then would cry until we came to get her. Then she'd pass out on us, we'd put her down, rinse repeat all night. No idea what the issue was. She won't sleep if we put her in our bed but holding her in the recliner for a while ended up being the trick on the 3rd try. Zzzzzzz ~O)
Finally have an appt set for my back! Dec 2nd. It sounds so far away but at least it's in the books. When I walked out to the kitchen, I found a container from Don's work. He'll bring leftovers home sometimes. Man, I am so excited to eat one of these tonight =P~ They smell of peanut butter
I am so glad that tomorrow is Friday. I just need to make it through one more day at work.
We had a staff meeting at work last night which was tame compared to what I was assuming it would be. Then most of us went out for drinks and pizza. It was a blast! I love my co-workers and it was nice to just let loose and have some laughs.
Coffee to all the sleepy mamas @Clyde013@LauraC122... I'm sorry your guys are still waking up so early.
@beckyanddon I need the one for eating please... he hasn't eating any meat in 3 weeks! Today I was able to make him eat some fish, only because it was fish & chips not the healthiest!
@casey78 I had to work this AM from home, there's no such thing as working from home for us... it took me 2 hours what I could have done in 30 minutes at the office... I did have to turn on the TV way longer than I normally do...
@Stacey099 I admire your will power, I'd have eaten those the moment I opened the container

Everyone is still asleep here. I woke up a little later than normal and went for a walk. Its a brisk day here at the freezing mark. I am so excited for this weekend! I am header to Toronto for a huge book fair! :-B
@kaylakim glad you had a good meeting after a crazy day!
I feel victorious this morning. I was showered, with hair dried, make up on, a kid fed and dressed and out the door by 6:40 with absolutely no tears. Usually the mornings that I shower, we leave later and there are tears, because OMG, I leave my kid alone for 5 minutes to dry my hair and he thinks the world is ending. Or I bring him into the bathroom and he cries because I won't give him a bath. Or he cries because getting dressed is miserable . Or because the dog took the food that Ben gave him. Or he can't figure out how to hold 5 balls in his hand with his milk in his other. This morning, though, no tears!
And we got his school pics yesterday. He kind of looks like he's going to burst into tears.
Hi!
Claire has PT this morning - she is not walking yet but making progress in the right direction
@simone711 We have PT this morning too! And, same. We are 10 days away from 18m, and I think he has a very good shot at taking a step before then. I told him yesterday he has 11 days to get it figured out
FKA mimi4347: diaper rash magician and unofficial expert on excrement
This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
Baby was up until almost midnight last night, and his longest stretch was less than 2.5hrs. But every wake-up he would go right back to sleep and let me put him down in his bed so it was a huge improvement from the past few nights where the wake ups were longer than sleep stretches. I'm feeling more tested and ready for a new day.
Extra thanks and hugs to everyone for all the support last night. Amazing how much it can mean from some Internet "strangers".
Oh man, my head feels like it's going to explode. I think I got whatever DD has/had and I feel awful. I tossed and turned most of the night... Sick mama plus sick baby is seriously the worst combination.
Good morning. I think DS is teething. I noticed it right at the gum last night, so I gave him ibuprofen to be proactive. He woke up at 3:30am. MH tried for about an hour to get him back to sleep, which I didn't sleep through. Then I heard "Mama" over the monitor and my heart melted. MH brought him to me to try, I eventually got him down at 5:40, my alarm goes off at 6.
I wanted to start spam at 4:00am, but I didn't have a good title. I thought of one on the way to work, so next time I'm ready!
Ugh...my clingy sickly decided 11pm was a great time for a burst of energy to play. Didn't get her to sleep until after midnight. Then with her cough I was up often to check on her. Now she's been pretty quiet since around 6. Of course I am up with Nikita for school. Hoping she is able to keep sleeping so I can get in a nap when I get back.
So excited for a work from home day. I was supposed to go back to the conference for happy hour thing tonight, but I'm aging the mama card and staying right where I am.
I assume you meant "playing" the mama card, but I think "aging" might make even more sense (at least for how I feel these days!)

New cleaning people come today. I'm excited and they better do a good job!
Haddock and I are headed out to do errands when they get here and hopefully doing a Costco run, but Costco is 40 minutes away and just ugh... it seems so far!
Good luck at PT today Luke and Claire @gutsymama and @simone711! You got this, kiddos!
Update on DH: He had symptoms of an allergic reaction to chocolate Oreos twice (once Tuesday night and once yesterday afternoon). He also ate a fun sized Snickers while leaving work yesterday and the same thing happened. So we're completely confused. I'm trying to convince him to at least call his PCP, but he hates going to the doctor.
I'm working with a new team today, out of a different agency. I was all snippy with DH because I though I was running late. Turns out the meeting starts at 9:30 not 8:30 #-o

Dishonor on all the babies that don't want to sleep!!! :P ) reading through spam made me laugh! Seriously though, GTFTS babies!
MIL Gem: "my coworkers three year old is reading! What kind of life will Abby have if she's not PT AND Reading as soon as possible? How can we face relatives? Why aren't you more worried about this?"
All to H over FaceTime last night while I had a long bath! lol he just told her "one crisis at a time mom".
If she had stopped blathering long enough we could have told her that Abby has gone two nights now in undies & completely dry. We are working on day time & pooping.
So we are almost there! Stick that in your pipe & smoke it MIL!
So, apparently my child doesn't like triangles? He has two different four-piece shape puzzles that he has mastered, but 99.9% of the time he won't do the triangle. Occasionally he will if I ask him, but he clearly doesn't want to and makes a big production about it. Sometimes if I just do it for him he'll take it off and throw it aside. Weirdo. :-??

Keep your fingers crossed that our pipes don't burst. It dropped down to -10 here last night and some of our pipes froze. Luckily, it's only the pipes in our master bathroom and LO's bathroom. Everything else works. But now it's a waiting game for them to either thaw or burst, and burst pipes would be no bueno. :-SS The way the pipes in our house were laid out makes those 2 bathrooms very susceptible to frozen pipes. So we always run into this issue when it gets really cold outside. It's supposed to be bitterly cold for another week, and H is supposed to go out of town for 8 days this weekend so I really, really hope something doesn't happen while he's away!
It's snowing. Wtaf. @lizabethann06, you did this to us with your snow dances! Dishonor on you.... Dishonor on your cow.... But I love you anyway :x
I'm also blaming @lizabethann06 and since I have a lot of errands to run today, I think she should come drive me around to them because %walking in freezing wind lugging shopping around 8->
@audrey1787 there was a new worker in Bens room yesterday, and she said that she has the hardest time believing that he bites because his face is so sweet. He seriously is like the sour patch kid commercial. He is so naughty and violent and then he is so incredibly sweet and adorable.
Re: You are my spamshine!
Bad night here. E had a number of wake ups and one vomit from. 7-10 and then up at 5. Yippee

G had a few wake up and he tried to be up for the day at 445. I-) I'm rocking him now so I can get ready for work.

@fabk good for you for your morning walk! I hate that it's so cold here and can't imagine going out in these temps. I miss my outdoor morning walks.
