Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy: minimal endo, partial septoplasty
IVF #1: 10R/6M/6F ~ Day 3 ET = BFN
IVF #2: 14R/9M/5F ~ transfer canceled ~ all embryos arrested at 1-2 cell stage
IVF #3: 9R/5M/5F ~ 1 frosty!
IVF #4 (FET #1): BFN
IVF #5 (DE IVF #1 with Dr. KK protocol): Currently PREGNANT!!!!!!
Synthroid + Prednisone + Metformin + Baby Aspirin + Supplements Galore = 15+ pills a day
Lupron + Lovenox + Delestrogen + IVIG + B/W = 2-5 pokes a day
19R, 17M, 17F - transferred two Grade A blasts 11/16, four frosties!!!
Beta #1 11/24 (13dpo/8dp5dt) = 367 ~ Beta #2 11/26 (15dpo/10dp5dt) = 709

ER is tomorrow. I am so surprised by how badly I'm taking this... I thought it would be easier because I shouldn't have to worry about my egg crapping out. Instead, I find myself crying at every little thing. And having panic attacks. I think I'll feel better once we get the final report on Sunday.
QOTW: I need help here... Which is why I asked! I failed miserably today and spent the whole day in panic mode. What is wrong with me??
We find out in 2 days if our surrogate is positive. I am trying hard to not to be too anxious as well. Thankfully my job keeps me super busy.
RunCC37 -Good luck with the retrieval tomorrow! I'm sorry you're feeling anxious, hopefully it will pass soon.

I had my hysteroscopy today and everything is looking good. I will start letrozole (sp?) on day 3 of my next AF. I'm not sure when my transfer will be, but it's looking like sometime in December.
I like to watch baseball or reality tv to relax.

DE FET #4 - last 2 frosties....5/22/15- Transferred 1 4BA embryo...only one frostie thawed properly. Beta scheduled for 6/1- BFN (beta 2, 2.81, 6, 23, 49.4) 6/15/15 Discovered ectopic in left tube. Methotrexate given. Moving on to a new donor. Hoping to transfer by the end of the year.
Cant find a donor that is healthy and available. Looking at being happy with just the two of us.

Lupus anticoagulant initially high, then found to be normal on hematology consult;
Follow up testing in September all clear;
Started synthroid for "high normal" TSH;
FET # 1- late October 2012- BFP on FRER; beta # 1- 21(low), beta # 2- 48 (still low), beta # 3- 132, beta # 4- 1,293; beta # 5- 5,606; last beta- over 100,000. First u/s 11/21- heard heartbeat
12/12- Officially an OB patient!
Level 2 ultrasound at 20 weeks shows vasa previa and VCI
Referral to MFM and mandatory c section for delivery
Beautiful baby girl born at 34 weeks
Finally home after 15 day NICU stay!

As for me, September I had too many follicles, October I got BFN and I found out yesterday that I have two cysts and the estrogen is too high to proceed this month

Not too much going on here. My appt with Dr KK was moved up to the beginning of january, which might not work. If I get the job that I've been interviewing for, I would start the 1st week of January and could not realistically ask for time off until maybe March at the earliest.
So while I'm anxious for this appt, we have decided the earliest we could cycle again would be May; for both financial reasons and possibly starting a new job and being able to request time off for transfer. So it might not be a big deal if we need to postpone.
I take bubble baths, cuddle with my kitty, cook and watch the Food Network to unwind.

QOTW: I've been listening to mp3's of mindful meditations. I actually find it more helpful than the C&B guided imagery. It is not specific for IF, but I find it helps me with my anxiety.
AFM: Last week I was so hopeful, Saturday went to shit. My embryo did not look good at all, an early blastocyst, graded a C. My WTF appointment went well. We really didn't discussed what went wrong. Frankly don’t care what went wrong, because it will not change my decision to move away from doing a cycle using out OE or OS. We discussed what our best chance of success would be. She was very clear that she is concerned for a shared DE cycle because we only get half the eggs even with the use of donor sperm that will decrease our change for success, but we would have a slightly better chance than donor embryo. She gave us a 65% chance of success for donor embryo with the embryos they have set aside for us as they were created from donor eggs, great quality, and frozen via verification. She actually thinks that traditional Donor egg cycle using donor sperm will give us the greatest changes for success, 75%. I explained that the cost for a traditional donor egg cycle using donor sperm is our biggest obstacle for this route. My RE proposed a discounted cycle for a traditional DE cycle using donor sperm since I am a returning patient. This is why I like this clinic. They are incredibly generous and want us to have the success as much as we want it for ourselves.
DH and I had a discussion our options last night about our plans moving forward. He likes the idea of Donor Embryos, for a few reasons, #1 cost, #2 the embryos are already blastocysts so we do not have to worry about the possibility of poor quality embryos. I’m leaning toward DE/DS, because I cannot bear the thought of another failed cycle, and that 10% difference in success, gives me some comfort. I’m not concerned about getting poor quality embryos if both DE and DS are proven donors. We have a lot to think about and more discussion to get on the same page.

Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

Today, a dream came true for my family
We transferred two Grade A blastocysts. We have three blastocysts who are being frozen (Grade A, B, and B- ). There are a few more who may make it to freeze. We will find out by 9:00am tomorrow if there are anymore. We are over the moon!!! So happy and optimistic! Let the 2WW begin
On a business related note: I'm planning to post the new TPR check-in tomorrow with updates. Thanks for bearing with me these past few weeks, ladies! I had no idea that Dr. KK's protocol was going to be so intense. I literally haven't stopped running around for 7 weeks! If anyone wants to step in and be my back-up, then let me know. It'd be comforting & nice to share the responsibility around here.
