Sudden jump in fundal measurement?

Everything this pregnancy has been going wonderfully. My blood pressure's always spot on, my weight gain has been right on, lots of movement, no gestational diabetes, and measuring maybe a cm ahead at my appointments. However today at my 32 week appointment, I was suddenly measuring 36 weeks? My midwife set up an ultrasound for Monday because of the sudden increase. Anybody else had any experience with this? Because I am, of course, incredibly anxious that something is wrong now... :(

    Ok.....

    Are you scared of a big baby? You do know that fundal height is just a reference and can be off by a lot depending on the way the baby is positioned right?

    I have been skeptical of this whole fundal measurement thing all along. The other day I hadn't pooped in three days and I'm quite certain that at least a third of what she was measuring was poop!

    I went for an appointment today and the doctor said that because of the way the baby was positioned (she's all crammed over on one side), it was hard to get an accurate measurement.  On one side, the measurement was 32 and on the other it was 35 (I'm 36 weeks).  She ended up putting down 34 and said we'd check it again next week.  Just wanted to point out that fundal height is not very accurate...so try not to worry too much.

    BFP #1 - 03/13 Ectopic @ 5 weeks
    BFP#2 - 09/13 Natural m/c @ 6 weeks
    BFP #3 - 12/13 Natural m/c @ 6 weeks
    BFP #4 - 04/14   EDD - 9/12/14

    My doc has never told me my measurement. She just says good and moves on. I dont ask. Doesnt mean anything to me anyway unless my doc changes the due date.
    If I were you, Id trust your doc to let you know if it means anything :)
