So. I'm dumb. When I change the baby's diaper, I always notice that she's red, especially in her little crack. But not bumps or anything, which is what I assume to be actual diaper rash.
I'd like to let her go without for at least a few minutes in between but that's a gamble.
If it does necessitate diaper cream, do I put it on her? Or the diaper? I'm really stupid and I got conflicting advice. I also was told not to use the cream unless we have to.
I swear. Boys may pee on you, but girls have to be harder to clean with their little parts. I try to get in there to clean stray poop from her little vag, because, gross, but I feel like a pervert.
No way boys are harder!! I feel like I'm gonna hurt him, and don't want to be too aggressive with cleaning under and around it all. DH says I'm to delicate with him... I know how to handle girls parts!!! It's been insane how much trauma this has caused me the past 6 weeks!!!
Totally agree with this. You have to push stuff around and get under stuff. It's amazing how much poop gets stuck in his boy parts!
Does anyone else else's child decide to randomly hurl themselves sideways when they are up on your chest so that they are cradled in your arms? No? Just my strange daughter?
Mine does too. She also scoots her way down my chest to try to find skin to skin and gets fussy when she's met with shirt cause I don't have a V-neck on.
