  16 weeks is on the edge as far as being too early. At 18 weeks the baby is bigger and its much more accurate.

  WOW couldn't help to notice all the negativity. Sorry!! No wonder why you don't post other blogs! i would be scared to! I am not good at looking at ultrasounds but their is something there! Good Luck to you!!

  The reason people respond "negatively"  is because no one here is trained to tell you what the sex of your baby is. If the technician didn't tell you, it's because they couldn't tell. If they did, why would you expect random people on the internet to know better?

  @tthira You cant even tell what it is. It was a curious mom trying to have some fun. I've noticed this theme in alot of posts tho. instead of just not saying things when you disagree, people start hating on each other. I originally joined this site to connect with other mom and for the weekly up dates, but these blogs are depressing how mean women are to each other. I know it's your opinion, but be nice enough not to pull each other down. Every one took an exciting moment for this one mom and turned it into a hateful event. That is just shameful!

  Please re read my post. Putting your baby's genitals on the Internet is no way an exciting moment for the baby, nor everyone else around the world who may click on her post. I'm shocked to hear that you think seeing or showing a baby's genitals is exciting. Quiet worrying actually.

  I like having fun too. You know how I have fun? I do a hobby. I don't post pictures of my kids genitals on the internet. You wouldn't post that angle after they're born so why would you a few months prior?
  
  And FFS this isn't a BLOG. Good lord. Get off your high horse. Maybe if her idea of an exciting moment wasn't blasting her kids genitals online no one would shame her for it.

  If you insist on posting then please learn the difference between a blog, thread & forum. They are not the same.

  Omg, this is histrionics. Nothing in this thread is remotely "hateful". What's shameful is that grown adults can't handle disagreement so they have to whine about it & mislabel it.
