I honestly feel like this cycle has just snuck up on me, we waited so long to start it and I can't really believe that it is here.
I had my follow up with Dr. KK which went well. I had my follow up doppler to check on blood flow and my first IVIG infusion. I got to meet up with @RunCC37 and I think we had Dr. KK's first IVIG infusion party! My doppler went well and the lovenox and baby aspirin seemed to take care of my blood flow issues. My follicles were still small and the ones the measured were only at 6-7mm. My lining was at 7mm. My IVIG infusion went smoothly and since the prednisone seems to be controlling my NKC and cytokines well I won't need another infusion until a positive pregnancy test.
Then on Saturday things got fun. I ended up with some side effects from the IVIG. I woke up feeling like I had a terrible hangover took some tylenol, drank some water and went back to bed. I woke up a few hours later with a full on migrane (or at least what I assume was a migrane), fever, and chills. I ended up making my husband call the on call number because tylenol didn't even put a dent in the pain. Dr. KK called back and recommended tylenol (but not more than the max dose), benadryl, and lots of fluids. I pretty much kept myself in a benadryl coma most of the day and survived on gatorade and soup. My fever broke overnight and my headache finally let up Sunday morning. I continued to drink gatorade all day Sunday and finally feel pretty much back to normal today. Hopefully infusing slower and better hydration will lessen the side effects with my next infusion.
Today was my first monitoring appointment with my RE. I wasn't sure what to expect since the u/s tech at KK's office didn't measure anything above a 7. My appointment went pretty well. Most of my follicles were between 10-13mm, with 2 less than 10mm. I lost count and had to ask my nurse for the count and she said it was 15. I'm not sure if this includes the 2 under 10, but 13-15 follicles between 10-13mm is a great start to a cycle for me. Hopefully estrogen priming was what my ovaries have been missing these last 3 IVFs. The only not so good new was that my lining hasn't moved much since Friday and was only 7.25mm. The RE thinks I should make it to their minimum of 8mm, but wanted to put me on viagra suppositories to be safe. I'll be on them 4x a day in addition to my nightly E2V suppositories, so I have a feeling things could get messy this cycle.
My next monitoring appointment is Thursday and my RE expects my ER to be either Sunday or Monday.
Update: I had my u/s this morning and my follicles look awesome I think there were 15-16 and most were 16-20mm, one was at 13mm. My lining is a different story, it's 7.78mm which is less than the 8mm minimum to transfer. My RE is having me stim one more day, continue the viagra supps, and start terbutaline. I go back in for monitoring again tomorrow. If my lining is still less than 8mm, we may have to do a freeze all and then a FET in January.
Another Update: Well we are converting to a freeze all. Not only did my lining not thicken, it was actually slightly thinner today. My RE wants to repeat the SIS and also talked about endometritis and infection of the lining as potential causes for my lack of lining development. While it sucks to have to wait to transfer, I am so happy that my RE wants everything perfect for our transfer. I'm hoping we'll be able to transfer in January (assuming we have embryos to freeze), but I'll have to wait and see what she says. On the follicle side everything looks fantastic. My ovaries apparently love estrogen priming. I think I had 10+ follicles on the right most of which were 17-22mm with a few closer to 13mm and 7 or 8 on the left all 17-22mm. Hopefully this means we will get a good number of mature eggs and end up with a few more embryos to work with than we had previous cycles.

That's so cool you guys got to meet up! :-) Sounds like you are off to a great start follicle wise. Your lining has plenty of time to catch up but it's nice that they are being cautious & doing everything to help this cycle be a success.

Yay about the follicles. I had my best ever retrieval with this RE today. I had 9 mature eggs. Before that my best has been 4 mature! My husband and I were super impressed with her this cycle. Wishing you the best!!! U think you are in great hands!
