Wonder Weeks help

I think my app is wrong. It says I should have 6 days until the next leap and we should be in a sunny phase but we are not AT ALL. She has been so fussy and clingy the past three days. Plus, all she has done today is sleep and eat with very little play. I couldn't keep her awake no matter what. Nighttime sleep has been the same as always except she's back to not being able to sleep by herself.

Doesn't it sound like she's in a leap now? Maybe just a growth spurt?

    Well...I've definitely found the book to be useful in predicting fussy phases, but not really "sunny" ones. As PP mentioned, babies are often in physical growth spurts in addition to the mental ones. Also sickness and soon teething are other reasons for sleepiness and fussiness.

    That said, I find the Wonder Weeks' description of the skills LO is working on to be very accurate, as well as the timing. I enjoy looking for the various new behaviors to emerge.

    There is supposed to be a growth spurt at 3 months, and again at 4 months, from what I've read.. so perhaps that's it and it will pass soon.  My LO turns 3 months tomorrow but I haven't seen any of that behavior yet.. I was curious if anyone else was.  He was pretty much in a non-stop growth spurt for the first 6-7 weeks though.. I'm much happier now! haha

    I'm officially chalking it up to a growth spurt. She was up eating every hour last night. I hope it passes quickly because that was exhausting.

    I was going out of my mind waiting for the next leap and/or growth spurt but they never came when "they say" they should so I just said fuck it.
