I'm finishing up my night 3 of 3 and can't wait to get to bed! I'm 32 weeks today, and my hands and feet promptly started to swell overnight. I was much puffier last pregnancy, so I was surprised to go this long without it. My right side is swelling more than my left. Odd. (No, no blood clot). I was happy to see someone fixed the birth announcement thread from the people that apparently can't read English well!
Good morning ladies! It's our last day here in SC, but we don't fly home until this evening. I'm nervous about such a late flight with DD, but hopefully it's not too bad. I'm really sad to leave, especially since I'm not sure when we'll be back, but I'm also ready to be home. Traveling with a toddler is a lot of work! Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday!
Up and going much earlier than usual these days, so... hello you the early morning crowd!
Sleeping less and less these days, but shouldn't complain. Plus, everyone keeps saying it's just practice for the baby and it's infuriating.
We met babies at our Bradley class last night! DH got to hold one (he doesn't have much hands on experience with babies), and I'll admit it was both adorable and a huge turn on for me to see him be so sweet. He was super into it.
@MusicFanatic Loving Mondays is so rare, but an ultrasound is definitely a great reason to love them! I love today bc it's my Friday; school districts have Veteran's Day off tomorrow. Also, we have a special assembly at 8am honoring veterans. Then my 4th graders go to Music for 50 min, which is my loooong planning time for the week. So an assembly and a break is what I am looking forward to today. I had 3 days of substitutes last week (for various reasons-sitter issue 1 day, team meeting day and a committee work day), so I feel very unorganized and disconnected to my kiddos.
Hi ladies! I am eating breakfast and bumping while DS watches Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. Today is a work day(I work 3 days a week) so we'll have to start getting moving soon.
My first customer appointment is 1 1/2 hours from my house(I am a product trainer) but the positive is that I don't have to been in the office at 8am like I usually do and can leave straight from here.
Woke up early on day off mostly due to my very sore lower back and booty. Worked all day outside on ropes course for my class. Happy to have today to recuperate although I feel like a pansy..... 29 weeks 2 days
There was only one extra little boy in our bed last night, little man managed to sleep through the night so hopefully this means he is getting better now. Still has a yucky runny nose and I am congested this morning.
Hubs got the day off from work for Veterans Day today, even though Veterans Day is actually tomorrow? Too bad he doesn't have the actual day off to go take advantage of some of the restaurant deals tomorrow since he was in the National Guard.
I have an u/s today, but not the fun kind. It's time (well, past time) for me to have my yearly thyroid u/s after having surgery to have half removed two years ago. There is still a tiny nodule on the half that's still there, so it has to be monitored to make sure it hasn't grown. It's not going to be pleasant to be laying flat on my back with the wand to my neck at 29 weeks and with a stuffy nose. Grateful it's not a biopsy, though.
Hope your ultrasound goes well today, @musicfanatic !
I had a sexy dream about a co-worker last night. Oops. It'll be weird to see him when he gets in.
I am tired from a very busy weekend, but it was amazing, so it's worth it! I had a surprise baby shower yesterday! I suspected it and was pretty much prepared for it but I still cried when I saw everyone there and it was just soo nice to see my closest friends, my mom and my sister all together. It was small, so I got to spend quality time with everyone there, and it was a brunch with unlimited mimosas, so all the guests were having a great time. I had OJ in a champagne glass so I felt fancy
Time for work - I got in early today to be productive but I'm bumping instead. Oh well. Have a great day everyone!
I can tell I am on the verge of straight up 24/7 uncomfortability in my own skin and just wanting this pregnancy to be done. I'm not a fan of pregnancy and I haven't even had a rough one yet. I just don't like it and want myself back to....myself. Today is going to be one of those days. :-<

Oh - I'm sorry Maybe it's just one of the bad days and tomorrow will be better. I have days like that too - last night I was super uncomfortable but today so far I'm ok. FX for you that this passes!
Morning all!!! Slept until 7 am today when H went to work! DD spent the night at Gma's house, so the only reason I woke up in the past 6 hours was to pee haha Going to lay in bed on my phone for a bit longer Sorry for the ladies having a bad day, Hopefully it gets better!!!
I've been on such a painting kick lately... I think I'm going to repaint our hallway today. I was planning on driving to a nearby town to buy fabric for my glider but it snowed like crazy and we don't have winter tires on the car yet (it's an hour away through the mountains... You definitely needs winters with all the ice and snow). I'm not looking forward to being pregnant in the winter
My poor hubby was diagnosed with pneumonia yesterday, after I practically marched him to urgent care by the scruff of his neck. They started him on heavy meds, but he has to stay in bed. I'm happy to take care of him, and everyone else, but damn if it's not a challenge!
I am also at the point where I think I am destined to be uncomfortable or in pain for the rest of my pregnancy. Just about every weight bearing joint is in pain, and I might have SPD (not sure yet though). Walking is torture some days because of the pain. My OB thinks the pain will minimize as my body adjusts, but it hasn't really happened so far...
Every time I woke up last night I was on my back. I have had horrible sciatica pain the last two days and I think that is why.
I spent the weekend deep cleaning the house and I'm finally done. Even the baseboards are sparkling, it feels so good! All I have left to do now is the laundry, which I have been avoiding for far too long.
Speaking of laundry, I saw this and it made me laugh...
I canceled my OB appt today. We are supposed to get a foot of snow and DH said it took him 2 hours to get near the office this morning. I'm not sitting in 4 hours of round trip traffic for a 10 minute appt. Thankfully that had an opening later in the week.
The reality of having a winter baby in MN is hitting me. I'm terrified of this baby coming during a snow storm during rush hour.
I know I said this yesterday, but our house is being shown today at 5:00 p.m. This is probably our last chance to move before Christmas and baby arrives. All of my appendages are crossed.
@honeybeee3 way to go! I need to get on that. I did notice my dusty baseboards in the bathroom yesterday but that doesn't mean I did anything about it! Getting down on my hands and knees to clean sounds horrible right now.

@LuckyPenny1231 - yikes! A foot already. Crazy. I'm sorry you had to cancel, what a bummer.
@LadyXaverian- best of luck today, crossing fingers for you!
(Zoe Claire- born at 33.6 weeks- November 19, '14 - 5lbs 15oz)
Doing my glucose tolerance test right now. I think the real goal of this morning is not yakking rather than proving I don't have diabetes. Lego movie is the only movie on my phone and is surprisingly not distracting right now. Wish me luck that I don't have to do this again because I puke my drink up! Only 2 1/2 hours to go :-t
@NatureLovers I hope the meds work quickly and you feel better soon!
@LadyXaverian I'm crossing my appendages too! Lots and lots of luck!
DS woke up, completely inconsolable at 3. DH went to him but only wanted mommy. We cuddled for an hour and he was restless the rest of the morning. Everything seemed fine this morning but as we were putting on boots for school, it became melt down city. He didn't want to put the boots on, or the crocs. He didn't want to go barefoot. He didn't want in or out of the car seat, or for us to turn left, or right. Or Stop. He didn't want to see his friends or go home. I don't know what's going on and it's tearing my heart up, and I'm getting extra grumpy when DH is taking the tantrums personally and being pissy.
I also read these threads and intend to respond to a lot. People and then forget who I was responding to. Lots of love to everyone

It's hitting me too (I'm in the mountains in BC). I'm lucky that there is a hospital in my town but it is closed from dec 18-jan 4 and another weekend in jan. The nearest one is an hour away and the road is super sketchy and dangerous on the winter. I'm praying the baby comes when the hospital is open!
My husband has today and tomorrow off. I'm trying to convince him to take me to the Japanese garden and William Sonoma. I need a new Turkey pan and I want chef knives for Christmas so I want to 'secretly' show him whati want.
I stepped on the scale this morning - I didn't care for the number - I hope that the doctor doesn't yell (and I'm frantically trying to think of when I last pooped).
I have to go to some stores tonight and DH wants to come - I love him but he's not a good shopping buddy - he lacks focus and gets bored easily.
I'm wearing "boyfriend jeans" with boots today and I don't know how I feel about the look of it - but I'm comfy so I kinda don't care about the rest of it LOL

Fingers crossed for you! Hope they love it Do you have somewhere to move to if they do?
@excitedmama2 If this woman puts an offer on our house, we will put in an offer on another house within 24 hours. Ours will be a contingency offer "upon the closing" of our current home. IF this happens (our agent has us waaay too optimistic-- I couldn't fall asleep last night thinking about the house I'm pretty sure we'll put an offer on), we will aim for a 30 day closing so we can be in our new home by mid-December.

@MusicFanatic I hope your u/s goes well!
@elleswarth I was thinking the same thing about the announcement thread! How can one miss that big stop sign with instructions?!?

Time for food. Little Man is hungry this morning.
@MusicFanatic hope the u/s goes well and is awesome!

As soon as these boys are out the door for school, I'm going back to bed. I feel like I'm sleep walking this morning.

We were out of town this weekend, and I'm not too excited to go back to work today, so I had a fun-size chocolate bar as my breakfast dessert.
Eat all the chocolate!
