Where are you keeping the TV remote? The coffee table has been off limits for a while. DH also loves to torture me with a life of 3 remotes. I need ideas, looking for them is maddening. Velcro and on the wall seems like the only option and the thought makes me cringe.

    We just keep them on the table, in her reach. Sometimes she grabs them, sometimes she doesn't. We've become quite adept at quickly pressing the "Aux" button on top if the TV is on so that even if she presses something she's unlikely to change anything.

    We have them in a basket on the counter as well. She likes to hide the most important one if she can get her hands in it. Evil genius.

    I hide them in the couch cushions.... Which means I tear everything apart to change the channel. :-S #notrecommended

    We have a really deep part of our sectional (it's like a wedge) so we just keep them on the couch in that corner where he can't reach. We have a non-working decoy remote we hand him too. When we have guests we just put them in the coffee table (ours opens, and he isn't strong enough to open it.

    We have a fancy and overpriced universal that we use. It is either on the windowsill, next to us on the couch, the counter in the kitchen, or on the sound bar below the tv (wall mount).

    Does your overpriced universal have the weird cable remote buttons? Like on demand, dvr, play, ff, 30 seconds back?
