Our Mazda is Maddie, the Ford Ranger Rick. My family has always named our cars. DH thought I was crazy when he met me. Then I named his truck and now he refers to the cars by their names. My sourdough starter is Lazarus - though I suppose we could debate whether or not he's inanimate.
I have a concrete raccoon in my yard, it is called Ricky the Racoon.
When I bought my house I noticed when I'm looking out my kitchen window I can see a fake turtle on the roof of my porch. His name is Ted. My cat is in love with him. He will climb up there and sit beside Ted for hours.
Edited to add cropped pic but couldn't figure how to add it back. Lol
My car's name is Fancy. I didn't name it, the girl who I got it from did and I just left it at that.
Though, I have named the robot I work with. It's got two separate "heads" on it, so I call it the 2-headed dragon. I named one head "Mick" and the other "Jagger". I'm really not sure why.
We name our cars.. My Kia is "Ronaldo" and DH's truck is "Veda".. I'm not sure why the truck is a girl and my car is a boy. Haha I work in surgery and a lot of our equipment has names...
My car's name is Flo. I got it shortly after my grandmother, Florence, passed away. It made me feel like Nanny was close and keeping me safe to have my car named in her honor.
My car's name is Sophie. The car I had before her was named Daphne.
My boobs are Mary Kate and Ashley. Which is ironic since my boobs are not small at all. The right one is bigger, that one's Ashley.
Also, I just now mentioned this thread to DH, didn't tell him I was responding, and his immediate response was, "You told them about Mary Kate and Ashley, didn't you?"

This made me laugh out loud.
No named items here, but my neighbor's Wi-fi is named "Peter Griffin." I always laugh when I see that and any Wi-fi named something like "FBI Surveillance Van."

I kept trying to name our WiFi "T.A.R.D.I.S." but for whatever reason, when I change the name, my computer goes all "derp" and can't connect to it unless I change it back to "NETGEAR9".
I always wanted to be able to say, "Hang on, let me connect to the T.A.R.D.I.S." :P
My boobs are Flotsam and Jetsam. I really don't know why I started calling them that. They in no way resemble ugly cartoon eels.
------- Flotsam and Jetsam are nautical terms. Flotsam is parts of a ship or cargo cast out to sea after a wreck. Jetsam is cargo or ship parts purposely put overboard to lighten a load. Not sure if that's better or worse than ugly cartoon eels
I named my shotgun Sam when I was a teenager. I don't know why but it's still Sam and always will be.
We name our Christmas trees every year. Usually something mildly offensive. We also named my mom's tumor Larry a la Parks and Rec. (Benign and removed! It was scary but it helped to say mean things about Larry.)
Our wifi is 'Pretty fly for a wi-fi.' But I sadly can't take credit. I saw it a long time ago in student housing and it still makes me giggle.
The dishwasher is Stevie the wonder washer. But most things in my house are just made into funny names with Mc placed in the middle. LIke our vacuume, Sucky Mc Suckerson. Or our coffee maker is Coffe Mc Coff.
My '98 Izuzu Rodeo that I drove through high school and college was named Betsy. My uncle bought it from me to use as a second vehicle, then he sold it sometime later. Just recently my cousin (from the other side of the family) bought Betsy from a used car store, and her daughter is driving her now. They still call her Betsy.
My husband bought his grandmother's '97 Toyota Corolla when she passed, and he uses it as a commuter car. We call it "the Yo Yo", but I guess that's not really a name.
I just bought a new Ford Edge, but I feel like new cars lack character and therefore, do not warrant a name. But the car is kinda round and fat-looking, so I'm thinking of calling her Claire based on Judd Nelson telling Molly Ringwald that Claire is a fat girls' name in "The Breakfast Club".

The new car is much girlier, so I call her Belle.
My husband has a habit of naming plants.
Do you???
I'm guessing she uses disney names for her cars. Lol
Oh, hah, sorry. I had no idea that Rafiki was a Disney name.
****** anticipating mobile quote fail ******
Rafiki is the crazy monkey from The Lion King.
