    My mom just called to see if they can stop by in an hour to see the kids. Um, no? My downstairs is a disaster and I don't feel like picking up. But they're coming so I guess I need to get off my ass and make this place presentable.

    This is the worst. I'd like to say just leave it but I'd probably scramble to clean too.

    Thanks @CTGirl30‌ it's like they know when we have plans and do their best to catch all viruses at that time. DD was puking last weekend, now it's DS's turn. I'm so tired of vomit.

    I am up way to early for Saturday. DH was gone all week so I am looking forward to dumping stuff on him. I have such an appreciation for the single mommies. We have a birthday this afternoon, and I am trying to motivate to go to my barre class. We go to Antigua in just over 30 days so I have been trying to go 3x a week.

    Also, I am recovering from the shitstorm of Prop 47. It has created such a legal mess in CA and I know the voters did not realize it.

    Sorry about the thrush @RondackHiker‌. Hopefully you can get started on the antibiotics and get it cleared up fast.

    Sending lots of healthy vibes and coffee to the mamas with non sleeping or sick babies!

    Im up having coffee. DS shocked me and actually slept in today. He's just stirring on the crib now. DH is priming DS's new big boy bedroom with Kilz today, so DS and I are taking off to my parents' house for the night so we dont have to deal with the fumes. My mom is so excited, she went out and bought a bunch of new toys and invited like half my family over, lol. Im looking forward to visiting with everyone!

    But first I need to get DS up for breakfast and get my workout done so I can shower and get going here.

    I just bought one of Reese's Hanukkah gifts--an overpriced one at that.

    For weeks she has been wanting a sparkly magnifying glass like Doc McStuffins--because "how can I see the thorn to take it out of my bike"-3 year old logic. 

    Anyway, the magnifying glass is only sold in one set with Stuffy. She has about 80% of the rest of the set in various forms, but i bit the bullet and bought it. I used amazon points, so I feel better--but still 17 dollars for a freakin' sparkly magnifying glass. 

    Oh well. She will like Stuffy and the cast part too.

    Yep, school M-Th 9-2. The ad said they would work around school schedules but they want someone full time so I hope I can do both since they said they work around school schedules.

    Disney has 25% off. We bought Reese two of the sets; the hospital and dentist one. (They also have an eye doctor set). She has spent ALL morning playing with those and the clinic. With the discount they were $12 and change.

    Y'know incase you are ever looking for ideas!

    Hello all

    Should be a busy day... Need to work on a paper for school, getting my hair cut and colored (highlights/lowlights) FINALLY ... It's been since like.. Januaryish? It's sooo time. I'm going to cut off many an inch

    Also it's looking like it'll be date night for H and me and most likely overnight at the grandparent's for DS

    The only downside to this weekend is my paper due tomorrow and also a statistics test tomorrow that I haven't really had a chance to study for. :(

    I am anti-Christmas before Thanksgiving, but I caved and bought two Christmas movies for DD today. They were on sale, and I wanted to have them for her for the holidays. Plus, we had a gift card.

    I will try to hold off from watching them before Thanksgiving though. I'm excited for her to see Rudolph and Charlie Brown for the first time.

    Be strong mama. My DS is 4 and I feel like this is a life and death struggle. He did so well. Almost completely potty trained and we were going to stop buying pull ups. Then the baby came. It's literally like he forgot everything. Some days I just wanna cry. Crazy tip that his pediatrician gave us (that worked the first time pre baby). Bribe them with M&Ms. She said normally you won't hear a doctor recommend that, but when you get to a certain point you try anything. 1 for going pee, 2 for poop. Worked like a charm! Until the baby lol. Good luck and God speed my fellow mother in potty battle!

    Reese is in the bath now. I have to figure out how to wash her face, without her flipping out. Her face still has some paint on it from when it got painted the other night, and she is devastated about the idea of her not being spiderman anymore

    I've started all nursing bras and tanks in the washer on sanitize. All the toys she chews on are in the dishwasher. I boiled all her pacifiers for ten minutes. I called for a prescription for her and for me.

    Am I missing something? We haven't used bottles in months so those are clean.
    Maybe you can help me with some tricks to apply the oral suspension to her mouth. It's been hell over here..
