This is what our first floor looks like right now.

I'm home by myself with the kids all day tomorrow, and we are obviously limited to playing in their bedrooms on the second floor. It's not going to go well.

I'll post some AWy pictures next week. By then the kitchen should be pretty well finished, and I won't have 3 chop saws in my living/dining room.

And maybe i'll get around to painting some of the trim...or any of the 8 million other projects that need doing.

Last night was the first time in a LONG time I got the vibe that DH actually likes me. We went to the ryan adams concert and I was so happy and smiley; he kept looking at me and hugging me and kissing me. We never get out anywhere and I think we just forget why we ever liked each other.

I was talking to someone and he was cracking up and said oh my gosh, you are hilarious. He used to think I was hilarious, and it's why he pursued me. That just made me realize that my humor comes out around other people, and we haven't gotten out to hang out with other people in so long. It seems like he completely forgot who I am

How sad.

We need to really make an effort to be around friends in social settings. MIL has W overnight once a week, but expects us to come out there and spend the evening with them when we drop her off. I think we need to stop doing that, and make ourselves go be with other people. It's not alone time we're lacking, it's social time.

This made me smile, THT. I am glad y'all had a good time. I also think you are hilarious... I am waiting on our big S12 getaway in the mountains. I think the crazies are gone now. Although I am starting to think that everyone is.

So I'm kind of in a net battle with a woman I know on FB. It's about the Brittany Maynard thing. I linked an article yesterday and kind of summed up how I felt about the issue.

I still want to do a mountain trip, but selfishly want it to be after I have this kid, banish any depression that comes with, and hit the gym. Hahaha

And I've been thinking of cheenomae because my boobs are uneven but pregnancy really brings it out. DH thinks it's hilarious, left is twice as large.

I'm done with P/T Conferences! Yay!

DH is oot tonight, so I think the munchkin and I are getting Chinese food and hanging out. Tomorrow, SIL is babysitting and DH is taking me out for my birthday. Dinner and a movie. What should I choose? I don't even know what's out.

Hey ladies! LOONNG time I have not been bumping, but my Ethan is part of this birth month club. Just found out we're having another baby today. :-O A little freaked out.

Other than that, heading to Disney tomorrow as long as the rain holds off. Should be fun!

I picked L up early from DC and we went to the bookstore to play. She had a blast bringing me different books and playing with the toys there. I ordered a pizza to be delivered moments after we got home. Now we are watching Aristocats and staying up past our bedtime. #mommyguilt DH has been home late every night and we are staying up late hoping to see him before bed. Back to work next week...

Oh boy! I'm feeling lucky that my DH is all over those types of details. He had them change the small chrome brackets that will be holding up our glass shower wall to match everything else in that bathroom is oil rubbed bronze. eTa: I kept scrolling. @BPer‌ - I know it wasn't the point of the picture, but your living room looks beautiful!

I did! I was overly like 'whoa no way!' In a very 80's surfer man sort of way lol. I hope that doesn't make the name super popular, though I suspect it probably won't jump too much.

We were going to use rose as a mn at first, because it was the only name I had ever heard follow Briar. But, after saying it 700 times all I could hear was Briar O's, and had many dreams about giving birth to boxes of cereal. :S

Briar O's sound delicious. And all I think of is Sleeping Beauty when I hear Briar Rose. Briar is such a sweet name, I really like it.
