Young living essential oils

I'm an essential oil junkie. Use them everyday and used them to combat my PCOS to get myself ovulating again so I could conceive.

Just curious if anyone else uses oils and what their favorite ones for their pregnancy is so far? I know there is a list of oils to avoid which I have been doing.

Re: Young living essential oils

  • I use them. Love YL. I like to sniff the peppermint when I'm nauseas. Theives on my feet to prevent sickness and such. Always love stress away.

  • Right on. I haven't had any nausea yet but I've been carrying peppermint for when that pops up. I've been using thieves on my feet daily and diffusing peace and calming every night to helpe fall asleep.
I've also been using progessence phyto plus because it has a natural progesterone in it
  • I love them but have avoided them entirely since finding out. Especially after a miscarriage in August. Some of the ones I didn't think would be an issue turned out to be unsafe as told by my doctor so I'm not taking any chances. In general though I like the lemon grass one especially on weekends I will mist it as a house spray for energy to.clean. I also love the pine one. Peppermint is a hit or miss with me depending on the day.

@Jennym2b‌ which ones did your doctor say to avoid?
  • I use Ameo Oils from Zija. I avoid anything with root in it, but things like lavender, peppermint, and lemon I use all the time. Curious too which others @Jennym2b you were told to avoid?
  • I've been reading that digize helps with morning sickness. I haven't tried it yet though.
  • Yeah I think the ginger in digize is what is great. I've ordered it and a few others incase morning sickness pops up
  • @thejack Thank you for posting that! I was just thinking the same thing. I was concerned about using Thieves because it has cinnamon in it, but I only use the Thieves toothpaste, which is not that much. Otherwise I like lavender a lot, especially for breakouts, and the scent is calming. I diffuse peace and calming when I remember to help me sleep. :) I find that I have been having vivid dreams recently, and my hubby even had to wake me up from a nightmare recently. I'm still fairly new, so I am cautious about researching anything before I use it in my new condition. ;)

  • I've been putting lavender oil on my pillow to help with my insomnia (so far it really seems to help!). I also bought the ginger oil in case ms creeps up but so far I haven't needed it.

  • Thanks for sharing ladies. We have a presentation in town next week on the Gentle Babies book (the one posted in the pics above) and it couldn't have come at a better time. I'm really looking forward to attending it
  • Clovis very bad I was warned to be careful with eucalyptus although there's just hypothesis on it it was mainly herbal ones that I was told to be careful with and avoid if possible much of the other ones were told to be okay so lemon grass lavender excetera excetera how much of any of it is true I can't say for sure I would do careful research so just to play it safe I'm just overly paranoid about what to avoid with this pregnancy after how my last one ended but I do k now clove is something pregnant women should avoid
  • Has anyone used the Young Living supplements? Contemplating using their vitamins instead of drug store ones sinc YL specially formulates them to help your body absorb all the nutrients
