car seat inspection

I did a search on the car seat inspection website, but there isn''t a location close to me listed. Does anyone living in the Melbourne area know where to take it to make sure I installed it correctly?

    I don't live in Melbourne. I'm in st cloud. Call the police station. I think they can do it if not they should be able to give you a number you can call. The fire dept used to do it but think they put a stop to that due to liability. And I'm pretty sure the hospital checks to make sure everything is set right before they'll let you take baby home.

    I"m way late to respond to this....but you need to find a local CSPT and you can do it through the CSPT.org or NHTSA.gov website. NOT all police or firedepartments are trained properly to look at car seats.

    Also the Car Seats for the Littles group on FB can trouble shoot your install over the internet. Just post a picture of your install and kids' stats and they will help you out. I'm an aspiring Car Seat Protection Tech. ;-)
