Rants/Raves/symptoms: lots of mild achy cramps this morning. Could mean I should poop after work- not sure yet. LOL. Super happy that my last shift of the week ends in 31 minutes.

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday/season? And why? Special traditions, feelings "in the air," associated memories?

My favorite season is fall, but my favorite holiday is christmas. Fall though, since 2011 has been very difficult for me, as all three of my losses have happened during the fall.

Test plans: Probably next Wednesday (12 DPO) AF due the next day and I'm meeting my friends for dinner that night.

Rants/Raves/symptoms: annoyed with the light spotting I've had every morning the last few days. Also, I am happy I ordered a new BBT last night to replace my lost one! Should be able to start temping again Saturday!

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday/season? And why? Special traditions, feelings "in the air," associated memories?

My favorite season is Summer. I love the warmth and DH is around a lot more.

Favorite holiday is definitely Christmas. I used to be so-so about it but now having DD it is just so magical. I love the family time and decorating and giving her gifts.

My favorite holiday is Christmas! I love the music, traditions like monkey bread on Christmas morning and family gatherings!

@slh33‌-***try***not to drive yourself to crazy, I get a dip EVERY month and bodies can change at any time. Implantation dip is more of a hindsight thing versus a predictor.

Rants/Raves/symptoms: on day 4 of spotting, my back hurts, and I had some cramping this morning. I feel like my period is right around the corner so I'm hating my body right now.

GTKY: I love Thanksgiving. Good food and family and no pressure around gift giving.

@slh33‌ I'm going to play devil's advocate here and say I'm not entirely convinced you ovulated. I'm really conservative and don't have FFs fancy analyzers, but I don't see a clear temp shift. Have you thought about using OPKs to help pin down a day a little better?

Test plans: Tested tonight BFN but have no idea when I ovulated so taking it with a grain of salt.

I think I'll wait until AF is 1 day late (Tue).

Rants/Raves/symptoms: I haven't been sleeping great and feel like I had some mild cramping Wed night while I was tossing and turning. I had sore boobs a few days ago but they seem to have calmed down. Must be the post ovulation progesterone I've been hearing about.

Today I bought some FRERs and a BBT. That way I'm prepared for either scenario. Start temping tomorrow.

Definitely Christmas. I'm in Australia so it's summer, hot.. Lazing around eating good food and drinking wine. Though hopefully this year I'll be off the wine!!

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: not much, just excited to have some real timing and be back in the TWW. Unfortunately, this month feels like cycle 1 all over again with the sheer optimism. Going to be hard if this isn't it

GTKY: Spring because stuff is alive. Fall is awesome too, but everything is dying. I will admit tho, I had a great time crunching leaves as I was walking yesterday.

Thanksgiving and christmas time! It is family focused and I love the smells. Christmas is really the only time in the year I get to see my brothers so I can't wait!

@Pinknights‌ daylight savings time can absolutely affect temps, especially if you are one who is most dependent on the time of day. I have to temp at the same time everyday or else I get wrong info, so I had to move my temp time by an hour after DLS.

Testing plans: bfn yesterday. Temp dropped slightly again today, so I'm thinking I'm out. No need to POAS!

Timing: good. We've had really excellent timing every cycle with the exception of one, so I'm bummed.

Rants and raves: my best friend is coming to visit tomorrow and I'm so happy to see her! We live several states apart, so we see each other once or twice a year

I just wish af would show up so we can move on to the next cycle, but knowing her, she probably won't be here until Sunday or Monday....let's hope Sunday since cd1 on a Monday is the ultimate suck fest.

GTKY: I love going to st. Augustine, Florida every year to see the Christmas lights in the old city. It's so beautiful and enchanting. Makes me want to make some hot chocolate just thinking about it.

Testing plans. I keep saying that I am going to wait for AF to be late....

Rants/Raves/Symptoms. I was on call for work last night so even though I didn't have to go in my sleep was messed up. Woke up at 3:45 and my temp was 97.4. Then checked it when I woke up for good at 8am and my temp was 98.1. FF seems to prefer the second temp making it a solid circle, I just hope that is right.

GTKY. My mom's side of the family is huge and the only time we manage to get everyone together is for Thanksgiving, often 30-40 people. It was something I enjoyed a lot growing up and still value now. I am bummed that I will be working Thanksgiving but I will probably go home for my extended family's Christmas festivities

Timing: either -3,-4, or -5. We had sex one time so far this month. FI needs to take a vacation so he can have more energy to HIO.

Test plans: I am going to hold out until AF is due

Rants/Raves/symptoms: I'm just getting frustrated at the lack of sex. I have discussed it with my FI and he's fine with having sex once a month or less...too bad I'm not. It's very hard to compromise with this man.

Rants/Raves/symptoms: This is my first cycle temping and if I've always been ovulating this late, I've probably never had sex in my fertile window. Of course, if I've always been ovulation this late, I also have an excruciating short lp. My cycle length ranges from 26-29, typically... I'm mostly curious if af will show up this week or next...

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday/season? fall. I like bright, crisp, clear autumn days and I like moody, dark gray ones too. I've always loved the Robert Frost poem "My November Guest" and today is that kind of day ... "My sorrow when she's here with me / Thinks these dark days of autumn rain / Are beautiful as days can be" ...

@bishopsrook‌ It's rare for an LP to be longer than 18 days, and totally ok to call your doc after your cycle hits 60 days. If you don't have a positive by Sunday, I would definitely call.

@bishopsrook‌ I think it would be completely reasonable to make an appointment with your doctor if still no BFP or period tomorrow. LPs don't really go beyond 18 days without being pregnant, and you are also beyond 60 days total for the cycle.

I understand what you're saying @bishopsrook‌ . But if you ovulated but aren't pregnant, you should be gettin your period. So you may need to have your body "reset" to begin a new cycle.

My favorite season is spring because I love the budding trees, new flowers, and warmer weather. We actually celebrate May Day with some friends every year too, and I think the May Pole tradition is beautiful.

@pinknights I def think you O'd. But you have a lot of open circles/data missing. Is this your first cycle temping? It took me forever to get into the habit of doing it everyday. But if you're unsure, you know the rule - when it doubt, hump it out!

briannaescplan I feel your pain! We had a cycles like that due to DH low libido/low energy. He went to the Dr and he suggested a lot of B vitamins and l-arganine and so far its helped a lot. That kind of convo is always super frustrating for me too. DH just gets anxiety about sex in general and gets really uncomfortable talking about it. Its frustrating too when you see a lot of comments about how your husband wont mind all the extra action- which seems to be more common.

Favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because MURICA, making delicious rolls/pies, and spending time with family without any materialistic focus. It's one of the only mostly uncorrupted holidays tbh. My favorite season is late spring because of the weather and the flowers.

Rants/Raves/symptoms: I know it's early, and this makes me psycho, but I feel like I'm out already. I don't know why. RAVE though: Last night, DH was asking me more about the TTC process. He asked me when we start to worry, if there are any months I want to take off for any reason. He was even worried that asking me about it would be too sensitive. I told him that it's not to that point yet, that I just get disappointed when a BFN shows. I won't start to worry until we get closer to the year mark.

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday/season? And why? Special traditions, feelings "in the air," associated memories? Favorite season is definitely fall. I love the vibrant colors, the warm days and cold nights, the smell of the leaves, the way the air just feels different. And boots. And skinny jeans. And not overheating when I drink coffee. Mmmhmm.

Favorite holiday though is Christmas. I love how everything is just lit up and twinkling and beautiful. I get so sad to see lights go down.

Rants/Raves/symptoms: FF finally gave me my CHs back even after yesterday's very large dip. Perhaps the dip was just an anomaly and didn't mean anything. Having some cramps today which is weird since AF is far from coming.

I love the fall/Thanksgiving and Christmas. Fall for the weather and Thanksgiving because I get to see a large portion of my family (around 30 of them!). I like Christmas too though (when we can celebrate at my family's home not DH's) because it's just my immediate family. We always do a big dinner on the 24th followed by the late church service. On Christmas we still hide a pickle and whoever finds it gets a special pickle gift. I can't wait to continue this tradition with my children

bishopsrook - I would call your doctor if you don't get your BFP on Sunday. And that's really rude of them to tell you to expect difficult cycles and to only tell them when something happened. If you have insurance and/or are willing to pay for a visit, I would demand a visit. On the bright side, I'm glad you O'd since that means you are not sterile! FX for BFP!

@wannallama & @ slh33 - I just got 20 OPK sticks at Target (Target brand) for $15. It might be worth the $30 if you have to use two boxes at least for one cycle to help pin things down a bit more. Maybe start using them around CD10 to spread it out a bit.

Rants/Raves/symptoms: My temps are weird, I don't know what's going on. FF dropped my coverline this morning, so it looks a little better than before...but I still don't have a very big shift and I hit the already lowered coverline this morning. I've been a little crampy, which is abnormal this early. And my boobs are tender, but some of that is probably from the workout my pecs got on tuesday. So to sum it up.........IDK.

GTKY: What is your favorite holiday/season? And why? Love, love, LOVE Christmas! I despise everything about winter with the exception of snow. But I love the coziness, the warm fires, the lights, the gift giving, the family gatherings and parties. It just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. And then January hits and I'm ready for 80 degree weather again.

@milliegirl - I know, right? I wish he wanted all the extra action. I want it more for my satisfaction than just baby making. I actually have a canister of L-arginine at home. I should try and get him to drink that stuff.
It's a relief knowing I'm not the only one who isn't constantly getting laid.

Quick question... I finally got (dotted) crosshairs, and FF is saying I'm 3dpo. But the day that it's saying i ovulated, I temped an hour earlier and (if I remember correctly) hadn't slept well up until that point. I remember when I took it I didn't want to add it....

What's a "good" reason to discard a temp?? Cause I'm fairly certain I shouldn't have ovulated when it said I did (considering my CM was nowhere near fertile)

Test plans: Oh, I keep testing like I have no control over my piss. I'm seeing evap lines that have no color and I'm just going cross-eyed and insane. In other words, BFN.

What happens when you discard it? Do the cross hairs go away?

Crosshairs would go away if the temp is discarded because fertility friend needs three temps. Never discard temps, you can write in there that it was disrupted sleep or something like that but leave your temps in. I rarrly and only discarded temps when I realize that attempt is after only like one hour asleep or I know for sure (charting for 12 months) that it is jacking something up. I would say leave it in and know going forward that your O date might be off by a day or two.
