I wish someone would have told me...

Re: I wish someone would have told me...

  • And Night Moose is still killing me.

I keep imagining a moose roaming the lands all night....to the tune of Night Moose.
Yeah I totally thought he was chasing some mythical night moose through the forest. And when he says front page driving news I thought it was because he was chasing this moose in his truck. Whateves. I like my version better anyways.

  • I wish someone would have told me that after you give birth the beat the hell out of your stomach to get everything out. It hurt like hell and i had no idea it was going to happen.
And it's called "fundal massage."  Such a nice, misleading term.

@foxslaw - really?  Is that in church or just anywhere?  If I'm getting side eye'd I'm oblivious.
To be fair, I wear HIGH heels. They aren't kitten heels or anything. It's just been a couple times, but mostly comments from family members about how it's unsafe. Usually I'm just out & about.
I will wear heels until I'm physically unable to shove my swollen feet in them! We also don't have snow here, which helps.
I will also wear heels until I'm physically unable.  I had someone say I was crazy today for wearing wedges!  Ummm, have you seen my Jessica Simpson heels I normally wear?  I LOVE her shoes, they're so very comfy.

    There's always the famous:

"Revved up like a deuce" line...

"Bad moon on the rise" line...

    and

"Excuse me, while I kiss the sky" line...

So, I might be singing these lyrics wrong.  Good thing I'm typically with DH or alone in my car when I sing.

  • As a kid I use to sing.. "Owner of a lonely horse."

I learned in my teens it actually is.. "Owner of lonely heart.."

    :)

  • I wish someone would've told me the search bar for the mobile version of TB was down at the bottom and not at the top like it is pretty much everywhere else.
Somehow, I missed it for a while and kept grabbing my laptop anytime I wanted to search the boards. b-(

YES!!! @HerHighness that part of my delivery was worse than the baby actually coming out! It hurt soo bad I actually kicked the nurse in the head. I couldn't help it... it hurt so fucking much.
Yay (sarcasm) another fun thing to look forward to...almost wish I didn't know it was coming!

I don't know if I've blocked it out or if it doesn't happen every time, but I have no memory of this! I'm a little scared now that I'll be looking for it.
