This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently TTC again, either on their own, or via injectibles, IUI, IVF, adoption, etc.

A check-in will be posted every week. Please reply to the check-in post if you would like to be added to the group. Each check-in will provide the opportunity for you to provide an update as to where you currently are in your TTC.

Once you get pregnant please post about your first and second beta then move over to the pregnancy check in.

Jessylane8- 10/29-I am 5dpo.

MrsAmyDylan-10/22- We had a good consult. It looks like we will do the clomid challenge + IUI in December (which will take care of all our pre-cycle testing. IVF in January, assuming the IUI doesn't work. .

Lynnyloo- On cycle day 37, longest cycle ever for me except for my crazy cycle I got pregnant with DD on (BFP on CD69). I've had brown spotting each afternoon for the last 5 days, cramps have come and gone, and I had a negative test yesterday.

Okitty-10/1-SAIF Lurker timidly stepping forward!: DH and I are somewhat trying for #2. DS is only 2 mos old today, and while I'm breastfeeding I realize our chances are low (no AF yet) but we aren't preventing. DS took 5 years and was a surprise during our adoption wait. We hope to be lucky and have an unmedicated BFP as we aren't up for any interventions. If not, we'll revisit our adoption plan when DS is 18 mos (per our agency's rule).

Richzep-10/29-We had good timing this month...just started the 2ww before starting my FET.

Crossing my fingers that I'm one of those people that gets pregnant right before they're about to do a procedure. (Yeah, right).

TTC, with treatments

Ann679-I had my retrieval yesterday. I'm completely shocked. They got 8 eggs and 6 of them fertilized. That's more than my first 2 cycles combined. Now I'm hoping for some good growth.

Chiwifey-10/29-8 embies growing in the fab CCR.M lab. They'll call Saturday with an update on how many grew to blast & were biopsied. Then it's 2-4 weeks until we know more. It kind of felt weird leaving them behind in Denver today as we flew back to Chi.

Djma81-Transferrred 2BB 5-Day blasts with AH and HCG as we did last successful transfer. Transfer was Monday the 27th....don't think I'm going to test this time. Beta scheduled for next Friday the 7th.

EmAzeem-Nothing new still waiting for AF. It's like when you want her around the most she decides to never show up!

emwaiting – 6/18We are currently off all meds and just seeing what will happen on our own. Praying for that little miracle to happen. You know be one of those that can say "it will happen when you quit trying!" ha I will be 6 wks tomorrow from my last period so that is frustrating that it won't come on it's own. If it isn't here in another week then they will do a blood test to make sure I'm not prego and then do the meds to start my period. Kinda hard to have that miracle without my period or ovulating. We had to do IVF to get our DS so we are thinking we will have to go down that road again so time to save $$ again!

fullfhope –10/22-had second scan today with my favorite Dr and she was so positive and upbeat, we saw a strong heartbeat and while are still measuring behind she said is less than a week behind and she thinks this is ok. I have now graduated to OB. Next appointment is Nov. 3. Thank you ladies for your concern, much appreciated.

itsmevkb -8/20- We did the transfer last Monday of our one little frosty and everything went smoothly. Yesterday I tested and got a positive. I'm literally shaking typing that out. I'm scared. Scared of something going wrong, scared of having a crappy beta on Wednesday, scared of where in the world we're fitting another baby into our house, scared of just everything both good and bad.

JBDamonm-10/29-Plugging along over here on Lupron and patches....... Going for bloodwork every 4 days and a lining check next Thursday. transfer scheduled for the 14th! Just hoping everything goes according to plan. QOTW - sweet potatoe soufflé.....and anything desert.

Julie21613-10/29-Had my retrieval on Monday. Went in with 3 good size follies and a few small ones. Retrieved 6 eggs, to my surprise. RE & embryologist said 3 looked very good. 4 out of the 6 were mature and 3 fertilized. Waiting for the call today telling me what time to go in for transfer tomorrow. Praying my embies make it to transfer!

Kaf7-10/29-GL to those who are awaiting steps or results and hugs to those who need them. I had my sis which showed no polyps. RE who did the procedure was more knowledgeable about a gnrh pump and started getting everyone investigating that again but ultimately it will be a lot of money and time before we could get one from Italy so we are going to proceed with the new IVF protocol in feb instead. I am arranging transportation of our sperm to the new clinic. I am on my DHEA and coq10 and doing ok with it. Plan for suprefact and GH starting in Jan. Does anyone have experience with GH? I am a bit nervous about it.

KDR19179-7/16 I haven't been on the bump in awhile because I have been busy with the twins and work, but we are in the process of going back for our single frozen embryo. We don't tell many people IRL when we are going through IVF cycles, so I would love to talk about it somewhere! CD day 1 was July 10, I saw the RE on Monday. I'm taking estradiol 2mg 3x daily. I go back on 7/21 for an ultrasound and blood draw. The embryo transfer is scheduled for 7/28. We only have 1 embryo left and it has about a 65% chance of surviving thaw. If it survives thaw, it has a 27-30% chance of pregnancy. I love swimming, but don't get to do it much. I never thought I would want a pool until we had kids. If we had a pool, I think I would swim every day in the Summer!

mnj05 – 10/29-Second beta on Monday was 823. I go for another check Monday (my RE does a bajillion blood draws). My P4 is still low but otherwise he likes the way everything looks. No u/s scheduled yet.

MoFree –10/29-I'm just chugging along on meds that makes me feel bloated, cause my skin to break out and give me headaches. ET should be next Saturday or Sunday.

Pam MG – 10/1-Still hanging out

Phishgirl29- 10/29-DH has to repeat his SA before we do an iui again. No news until that gets done next week. Thanks again for all the kind words over my chemical pregnancy. It means a lot to me!

Pinkmickey24-9/17 Cycle 3 is underway. Going to sit down and chat with DH about when we should return to the RE. I want to cycle August/September again because a May/June baby if all works out is much nicer on a teacher's schedule, but I would be grateful for a baby at anytime in the year.

Run20K-10/1- My next FET is scheduled for 11/18

STL34-10/29-I was cleared to start stims on Monday!! I'm a little nervous because I already have a follicle at 14 even though I've been on Ganirelix for two weeks already. RE said I shouldn't worry about it. But, previously I've always had to cancel and re-suppress or have it aspirated; so, I can't help but worry. I'm going to trust her, though. She believes it is better to leave it and that it shouldn't hurt the other follicles or keep them from growing.

trigirl79 – 10/29-On BCP until 11/8. Then the show gets on the road

WadzFaith-10/29-Had ER yesterday, all went well and we have 18 eggs. We will hear this morning how they are doing. This is the part that is tough for me because it feels like I have zero control.

Efhoping2010-10/15-Will likely find out this week or next if new insurance has any coverage for IVF/ICSI #4, big money no whammy...

Bellalou – 10/15 Made my appt for 12-4 to discuss what my plan will be. I know I'm going to need polyps & probably fluid removed. Hoping to do all this while my deductible is met!

Just paid $1250 to fedex our sperm across the country on nov 17. Otherwise I am just carrying on with the DHEA and coq10...3 months to go...

QOTW: there used to be a fairly fancy restaurant in a city we used to live in and I can still remember my first time eating there and they had a chicken and asparagus risotto. It was the first time I had risotto and it was amazing. They used to change their menu every 3 m or so so I never had it again. But now I make risotto at home once a week. It is everyone's fave food in my house. One of DS' first words was "odo".

We were going to put off the IVF cycle until December but the first set of dates would not work and I did not want to wait until the end of December to start the process so we are moving forward with it this month. Started BCPs last night *cough* this morning. Since I haven't had a period in 2 months I think my body has stopped working.

QOTW: we love Milton, pizza place. Declan hates any pizza other than Papa John's cheese sticks so we are at war with him on this topic

That old hag AF just showed up. 2 more months until I can go to the RE. Thanks to my super high deductible insurance. ::pours more wine::

QOTW: I love Mexican food so anywhere that serves me a pile of chips and salsa makes me happy. I wonder if my kids' love of quesadillas and salsa has anything to do with my constant consumption of Mexican food while pregnant.

@jesselayne8 I have a high deductible plan too and I HATE it. (although I know I am lucky to have any IF coverage) I am saddled in medical bills for the year and cramming an FET in now because we hit our deductible. If it fails I'm not sure what we will do since it will cost us the full $3,000 deductible to try again right after the new year

My update - went in this morning for a lining check and bloodwork. My lining was "beautiful, the best of the day" according to the dr (it was 12.5)..... I was actually thrilled. Two days ago they upped my patches and made me come in for extra bloodwork, so I was a little nerved.

I start PIO on Sunday and transfer next Friday - I can not wait!!!!!!!

QOTW - there is an amazing upscale Italian restaurant around here that we LOVE. My favorite dish is "wood oven baked rigattoni" - rigattoni baked with sausage, cheese and a tomatoe cream sauce. Yes, it's every bit as good as it sounds. drool.

Transferred 2 embies on Oct 30, "1 very pretty 8 cell and 1 a bit slower 6 cell" both with minimal fragmentation. Beta is 11/13. Probably won't POAS, but haven't decided completely yet. Why did I think the 2ww wouldn't be as bad now that we have DD?

QOTW: There is a restaurant not to far form us called "The Coach Grille" Its pricey, so we only go once year or so. My favorite dish is there swordfish & Lobster risotto. Oh my, its to die for... they also have an amazing calamari.... oh now I'm craving it!

I'm so sorry @fullfhope‌.

DH had his repeat SA and all is well, but his morphology is low (2% not 4%). The nurse and RE both said that all his other numbers were so good that we could go ahead with another IUI next cycle to use up some follistim before it expires. I hope it works better then my other 4 negative IUI cycles!

Finally after what seems an eternity of suppression, then ER, genetic testing and uterine preparation my FET is happening on Sunday. We are doing a sET for many reasons.
