We have voting machines... it's really more like a touch screen computer that takes a smart card, if that makes sense. I've only ever had paper ballots if I were absentee voting- we always had machines in NY state too.
I did a paper fill in the bubble mail ballot this year. I'm pretty sure it was fill in the bubble 2 years ago too....but I waited 2 hours in line with a 8 week old so my memory is a little fuzzy on the details, hence why I will always mail in vote from now on. (I know Florida got rid of all the punch ballot machines). Election day in Florida is always interesting.
Bubbles here. But electronic reader of manual bubble.
FTR/Wed. Conf. - I voted, but DH didn't and they still haven't called our Senate race. I am pissed that DH didn't get out and vote when at one point last night there were less than 4k votes making the difference in votes.
Also, why are there only 2 million votes for a senator when senate approval ratings are shit and there are WAY more voters here than that? We are battered with political news every damn night here and our voters are just a fraction of our eligible voters. Ugh.

I don't have time to watch tv. And I don't get the phone calls! I have seen the signs, but none of them have a date on them. I suck.
