After a pretty uncomplicated pregnancy things here haven't been so smooth. It seems like everytime e take a step forward in terms of progress, we take two back in terms of complications. Would really appreciate any thoughts and prayers for my little boy. I will update when i get a chance. Thanks ladies.
UPDATE
After 50 his of labor, 2 Crash c section scares and 5 different obstetricians covering mine. My boy was delivered in a crash section. DH and I aren't happy thatno sooner did we have a plan thana new coverage attending arrived with a "new plan" which was really th same a the old plan which led to tecntanic contractions (5-8) minutes long causing extended fetal distress. Doesn't anyone ever read a patients chart for gods sake?
DH and i were finished taking their advice and said no but again the new night attending still pushed us on put (even after 2 scary prolonged decels requiring terbutaline) because my cervix was more favorable now. Fine we said as long as we take things slow as this baby doesn't tolerate it when the contractions get to 3 Minutes apart which is at 3 and hour, and loo and behold, as soon as we agree, the've immediately returned the pit up to 5. Tentanic contractions-> pronged fetal distress, wheeled back to the or for a real crash section, tachycardia with ekg changes and hypotension for me and Apgars of 1/8. My little guy admitted to the NICU for a full encephalopathic and septic workups and me with a full cardiac workup and now major swelling as they treated My hypotension and excessive blood loss with 7 liters of fluid. Grr... So mad, i swear if this results in morbidity for my baby, there will be hell to pay.
Please continue to send thoughts and prayers for my LO
Thanks ladies
