I am a personal chef. I go to other peoples houses and prepare their meals for the week and leave them in the fridge/freezer. I do their grocery shopping too.
I am a middle school teacher. This year I am working part time teaching three classes and doing planning at home. I work for an awesome private school that was able to accommodate part time. I go in at noon which is perfect w LO!
I am a veterinary technician. A.K.A. A nurse, dental hygienist, radiology tech, laboratory tech, surgical assistant, anesthesiologist, hospice worker, psychologist (for the humans associated with them), maid, and chef. I get paid next to nothing to get peed on, shit on, puked on, manhandled (I've ridden a St. Bernard once), bitten, and scratched. I have scars all over my body. I save lives. I've been doing this 40 hours a week for 16 years, and I wouldn't ever consider doing anything else.....except becoming a SAHM.
I'm being featured in a new pregnancy/motherhood blog during the month of October, so if you ever wanted to know more about my pregnancy, birth, and motherhood experiences than anyone ever should, check out my posts in the link below!
SAHM and full time health care administration student. I can't wait to be done with school and go back to work. I am also a licensed cosmetologist but mostly maintain it so I can get good hair products for less.
Marketing manager for a hi tech manufacturer.. It's an extremely demanding job already pulling me from DH & LO more than I'd like... and throwing my pump schedule out the window. And I'm only one week back. :-( But the opportunity to move up is extremely promising if I can just keep it together. So, I'm probably back to lurking here. No time for anything anymore!

I'm a substitute teacher right now but have a degree in animal science and minors in conservation ecology and wildlife and fisheries. When H finishes nursing school the plan is to move wherever I can find a job in my field.
Elementary school teacher. Right now I'm teaching Math to small groups of 2nd and 3rd graders as a part of Response to Intervention, so I'm lucky enough to go back part time this year.
We love August! Boyfriend & Girlfriend - 8.6.06 Husband & Wife - 8.6.10 Mom & Dad - 8.19.14
Currently I manage 2 appliance stores for my aunt and uncle, but this is my last week. Next week I start in with an organization that preserves and sells heirloom seeds. Can't wait to start something new!
I've been an elementary school teacher for 12 years. Currently in first grade. I've also done Kindergarten, 5th grade and Computer Lab (as a teacher in a STEM school) throughout the years. Other than teaching I've worked in restaurants as a waitress, on a large paddle wheel boat as a cruise director, as a nanny in the summer, as a tutor...a million jobs, since just teaching doesn't really cut it.
I'm a nursing student and freelance translator and have a degree in International Politics that I can't use for anything . Right now I do customer service at home for a national company to get some extra Christmas cash and add to our savings before we (hopefully) buy a new home in the spring.
