Okay, so I sing 5 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed to LO all the time... She loves it! So, I recently was looking on Amazon and decided to get the book (only $6)... however, they also had a set of puppet monkeys that were SO freakin cute! They had on the matching pajamas to the book and everything! I told DH and he was like well, we just bought a whole bunch of clothes, teething rings, etc for her (which is very true) so why don't you order it and get it for Christmas. DEAL! So I ordered them with Prime, so I get two day shipping! I got an email that they were delivered this morning so I sent a text to DH all excited... He said "Halloween Present!" ha ha I a glad he is just as big of a sucker for our little girl as I am! Looks like LO gets her monkeys tonight!!

Even though LO's Halloween costume is obviously pieced together and homemade, I am really happy I decided to do it this way and not go for one of the store bought costumes (not saying I will not do that in the future or I am some kind of Pinterest mom or something because I am SO NOT crafty at all!) I think the store bought ones are adorable, but I just get warm fuzzies looking back on the homemade costumes my mom made me growing up, and it feels special to know Stella might feel the same when she looks back at this one.

My babe graduated to a convertible carseat today! We could barely get her into her bucket seat anymore. Can't believe it! Time is truly flying by.

SD is so good with LO it melts my heart, she's 4.5 and we were a little afraid she was gonna be jealous because she is super close to DH but she's so happy to have a little sister and keeps thanking me for it. LO has a cold and she has taken care of her the whole weekend, every time she cries she comes running to sing to her and cheer her up, is so sweet.

It's my birthday and the day started out crappy. So I decided to take the day off to turn it around. MJ is home with me and now it makes me wish so much more that I could SAH. But the awesomeness is, Hubs got me my first wrap for my present. And it's the wrap that I thought would become my unicorn because the website that had it at first said sold out before I could purchase it. I had no luck finding one on any swap page. I've only ever seen it in 2 different posts. But I own it now

So instead of studying for my ARM course, I think MJ and I will practice wrapping after her nap.

This last Saturday dh and I both had the day off and Parker slept in! Well the damn dog kept trying to wake us up. She kept pushing our door open and coming in the room and shaking so her collar would jingle. She uses it as an alarm clock. So we are laying in bed and hear the door push open again, and my dh sits up and yells "GO LAY DOWN OR I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU!" Then we hear "Mom?" It was my dd! Dh apologized up and down and explained that he thought she was the dog. Thankfully she was not traumatized and we all laughed about it.

I just realized how insane I am. I just scored a swatch of fabric to have made into a couple of diapers for MJ. I did a celebration dance about ot because it's an awesome print. Diapers with Hello Kitty as super heros! Hubs just shook his head at me. Why can't men get excited about silly shit like we do? Sigh

Zach took an hour nap this morning and then another 3 hour nap this afternoon. Plus he was content entertaining himself for most of his awake time. He is never content that long, or naps so well.

I work in insurance too! But I work in IT Sec and Compliance so I don't actually know that much about insurance....

@JujuB22- I can see that happening for us too, lol! Only the person saying it would probably be me $:\$ "> I will say though, that I have in the past (and need to do it again) tape all of my dogs's tags together so they won't jingle when they shake. The silence is amazing!

We have a collar that has the dog's name and our number embroidered on it so she doesn't wear tags and it's nice and quiet.
