I slept great last night but woke up at 5 am feeling like I had crap loads of stuff to do for Emma's party. I got up made name tags for all the food, printed coloring pages, collected all our Minnie and mickey stuffed animals and put together the cupcake stand. I was going to bake cupcakes but now I can't find the mickey cupcake sleeves I bought so I'm calling the bakery when they open and just ordering them! Anyway its 6am now and I'm done...tick tock tick tock.
Re: Halloween hang over
We have a covered canopy thing on our patio, it was so windy, when we got home, we saw the wind picked it up and tossed it across the yard. It's all ripped up now, bummer, but otherwise in one piece.
Aw, @stephcarter , I feel bad for your SD. My SS mom forgets about him all the time, and I know it hurts his feelings. Last time it happened, he called her a selfish bitch to her face. I scolded him for language, but in my head was like, uh, YEAH she is.
I don't know that i will TorT next year. Husband and I are very different when it comes to TorT. He's all "lets go more houses candy go go go!!!!!!!!!" I'm like "dude shes 2. Slow down. She wants to look at stuff. Chiiiiiiiill." I think it's best for everyone if i stay in and pass out candy. LOL

B just got home from my moms. It's almost 7. I called her...
"Did she eat dinner?"
"Well she picked. Then she told me she wanted a banana and I didn't have any bananas. Then she told me she wanted chocolate so I gave her a Milky Way"
"A full size one?"
"Yes"
Ummmmm WTF?
We watched my niece for a bit this afternoon. She's the same age as C, but suuuuper quiet and reserved. I think C's nonstop energy overwhelms her. They come over to play a lot, but she's rarely babysat by anyone other than her grandparents. Poor kid was a hot mess at our house. She was doing ok just sitting in my lap looking at books with C, then C threw a book and we put her on time out and her shrieking scared my niece, then I had to change her diaper and she had awful diaper rash, and it was all downhill after that. I ended up calling my SIL like "so G is having a meltdown for the past 30 min. Thought you'd like to know" . I feel bad.
I ate toast, y'all. Like 3 hours ago. I'm not in the bathroom yet. Woooooooo.
Today we've just been back and forth cleaning and unpacking. I feel like it will never get done. I packed it in a week, so it should unpack in a week too, right?? My mom flew in Friday morning and thank god for her!
The boys are doing great with the move. We set them up in separate rooms last night on mattresses on the floor and they did OK. But DH doesn't know where he put the crib screws so we ended up setting up the bunk beds detached in the same room. So now, as I type, they are sleeping like little angels in the same room in their beds!!!! I love it! But lordy, I'm nervous about how tonight will go. If it doesn't work out, we can always move E back into the other room that was supposed to be his. Otherwise, the "nursery" will mostly stay pretty bare until another baby comes.
Oh, and E was a pro at ToT. We went in our new neighborhood and I love it. I'm happy with my choice to move. Now if all our stuff would just unpack and put away itself...
