I got scolded today by my stepbrothers crazy FI for saying "fuck" in front of their 7 month old baby - she even put "earmuffs" over her ears. Seriously?! I'm pretty sure you could speak to your baby only in cuss words at that age and it wouldn't even matter. I still can't even believe that happened.

I hope that's the kid's first word now. )
Must be their first baby.
I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with first baby and everything to do with being strange.

I don't usually drink coffee. We didn't even own a coffee maker until today. I went and bought one and now I'm sitting here drinking a delightful cup of it.
This has been the longest day! DD is sick (again) so she's been cranky which makes it feel longer. I've been productive getting laundry done and packing for our trip and now I'm paying for it with lots of back cramps and BH. Lying down and drinking lots of water will hopefully help, it usually does the trick.
I put one of my freezer meals in the crock pot (roast and carrots) so that smells fabulous and I love that dinner is almost ready and I didn't have to actually cook. We also bought a little fire pit this weekend and are planning to do s'mores later and then watch The Walking Dead (can't wait to see where Beth has been!) Perfect Sunday evening!
Happy birthday to the birthday ladies and hope everyone else has had a good and/or restful weekend!
Happy birthday @VioletGjoni and @LooneyLife and to anyone else celebrating this weekend! I hit the big 3-0 on the 18th
I'm sitting here in my 49ers jersey with my SF Giants blanket, a snuggly fur baby, and no pants (because pants suck today) watching the football game. It's a lazy kind of Sunday.
I'm glad I passed my glucose test because we bought a crap load of Halloween candy yesterday. Who can say no to bags of Snickers for $1? Not this pregnant lady!
DH was a jerk in my dream. I dreamt he left me at Target at 9:30 at night. Stupid jerk face. He made up for it this morning by getting me a couple bagel halves at church because I didn't have time to eat before I left the house. He was at church early to run tech this morning.
@Edvent - I'm sorry DD is sick again I hope she feels better soon!
Thanks! She was hardly ever sick as a baby and then since September she (and all of us) have been sick at least 4 times. My MIL keeps her and several other toddlers who have older siblings, so it seems like it started when school started. I'm so over it!! I'm taking her in to see her ped tomorrow because I need her well for us to fly home to SC on Thursday.
I painted the baby's room today. I love it. It's bold yet warm and once I get black and white frames with mint and gold accents on the walls I think it'll look even better!
I'm sitting on the couch with my dog on one side and my cat on the other, trying to avoid buying all the Christmas things. So far, I have successfully limited myself to pinning. It might be time to shut down the laptop...

How do you live!??
I drink coffee maybe 3 times a year?? Just never really got into it.

What influenced your decision to change? I must have coffee and am delighted when I get 2 mugs a day.
I just woke up today and really wanted coffee! lol. Figured with a new baby coming, I would need coffee more often so I just went ahead and bought it.

I think I've had 4 cups a day since I was around 17.
I lowered to 2 when I became pregnant. And if my BP is high they only allow 1..... but they know to stay away I freaking love coffee.

Well, we survived the longest day ever! DD started feeling better and is sleeping happily in her crib and DH and I are anxiously awaiting TWD. I was too lazy to go back outside, but made some oven s'mores and one of them has a Reese's cup inside thanks to trick or treat! Happy Sunday!
Edit: added a word and holy s'mores! Not sure why it posted so many times!!
