So in case you haven't figured this out by now, I'm a terrible person. I bought 2 pumpkins 2 weeks ago intending to have a great sensory and fine motor building experience with N, and they're still sitting in my garage. At this point I'm not going to put them on my porch, but I hate to let them go to waste. So what should I do with them? I'm kind of terrified of cooking them b/c I've never had cooked pumpkin before and all new and strange things should be feared and shunned, right? No? But seriously, the smell of pumpkin-scented candles makes me instantly and horrifically nauseated. So here are my questions:
1. Does cooked pumpkin smell like pumpkin-scented candles? (If yes, then ignore the other questions b/c I just can't.)
2. What can I make with them besides roasted pumpkin seeds?
Re: Pumpkins...Now What?
As far as what to do with them, what about some sort of Fall/Thanksgiving centerpiece? I bet pintrest has some good ideas.
