Breastfeeding for baby expected through surrogacy

I am expecting our first child via surrogate and I am trying to induce lactation so I can breastfeed my baby. I'm wondering if anyone has done this and what you did to start your milk production? I have been referred to the AskLenore.com website by the local lactation consultant but she didn't have any other advice to offer me other than following their protocols. I'm in the US and am not able to get the drug they use in all of their protocols and am wondering what others did/were told to do. Any advice would be helpful! Thanks!

TTC since April 2010
BFP #1 – March 2011, missed m/c April 2011
BFP #2 – October 2011, m/c November 2011
Surprise BFP #3 – December 2011, diagnosed as cornual, terminated January 2012
BFP #4 – June 2012, m/c July 2012
Diagnosed with bicornuate ute and MTHR gene mutation
BFP #5 – October 2012, missed m/c November 2012
BFP #6 – January 2013, m/c March 2013
No longer TTC. Diagnosis: Hostile ute. Heartbroken and bitter. Pursuing surrogacy.
June 2013 - Carrier found! Could this really happen?!

    I remember you from TTCAL. Congrats!!!

    I think someone on the adoption board successfully induced lactation. I believe she took Domperidone (which I took for supply issues) among other things, but I don't know details.

    Bed rest from 21w-35w due to short cervix, hospital bed rest from 23w-32w due to PTL
    Our rainbows were born 07/19/13 (36w, 5d)

    I've heard domperidone can induce lactation. I used it to boost supply. You can buy it on line. Congrats and good luck!
