@bhjones1980 - everyone's favorite poster made an appearance on the hospital bill thread. She just needed to tell us her birth plan and about the OMG DANGERS of a medicated birth.
She is a super awesome nice person, great sense of humor, and they have no children.
I would think things would get dicey with like, finances and stuff, no? To hell with paying for DH's fancy dinner dates with his other woman!
I personally couldn't imagine ever being okay with sharing my husband. ever. That being said, DH has a work acquaintance who firmly believes monogamy is a death trap and his wife is a stripper...It works very well for their relationship and there is clearly no jealousy issues. They're both extremely nice people and there are also no children involved. He explained to me a few months ago that it's a matter of exploring all the joys of life while still having someone to come home to. Ultimately they love each other and want to be together without limiting any form of pleasure.

@tthgirl I am so glad to hear you and DH are making the best of things. Your angels will ALWAYS be part of the F15 club
I went to Starbucks this morning and got my free birthday drink so that was awesome. I haven't had caffeine in a while so now I have a lot of energy. I already went grocery shopping and finished my Thanksgiving menu (along with buying all the food), scrubbed all 3 of my bathrooms, did 2 loads of laundry, cleaned all of our windows, did the dishes, and am prepping dinner. Anyone need some energy? Feel free to take it!

Here at work there's a dessert competition for a charity campaign today, it's totally calling my name but I have my 24 weeks appointment later, so I MUST resist. Damn GD is totally ruining my fun.
I'm in the middle of an office packing movement. My cube is all set to go, just got the computer left, so I must reward myself by wasting time on the bump. Off I go to lurk that thread...
DH thought he'd be cute and try a new nn for Rosalyn. He called her Rosie Lyn, not a chance in hell. I let him know that I'd anyone ever users that they will be banned from using anything but her full name. [-(
I now know that nn's that don't go with the name are one of my buttons.
@tthgirl - glad to see you and your babies are always a part of our little group!
I am jealous of the ladies who have cold weather. We were told that a cold front is coming. A cold front for us is a high of 62 with a low of 36 Saturday.
I think I am going to go register at the hospital tomorrow. My OB requires that you do it by 28 weeks and the nurse said she'd call me to make sure. Travel is going to be crazy for me, so tomorrow it is!
I had ice cream for lunch. I don't even care, because I'm trying to pull myself together so I can go to the vet and pick up Lady's body. She had her surgery today, and the lump was worse than we expected. The vet found out that she had a very aggressive cancerous tumor, and recommended euthanasia. Even if they removed the tumor it would just come back, and I didn't want to put her through that.
My husband can't leave work early, so I have to go get her by myself.
Hugs @kefttsc I am sorry for your family's loss, but I agree, I do not think you need to cancel the shower.
Short day at work, have DS 18 month check up today, so I get to leave early. I am also a little wary to take him TOT on Friday now since last night I was sneaking a piece of the halloween candy (almond joy) we bought to give out and he toddled up leaned over and took a huge bite out of it before I realized what he was doing, he has never had candy before, and then he threw a holy fit when I wouldn't give him the rest. Uh Oh!
Hope DS's appt goes well! I didn't realize our kids are so close in age! DDs turn 18 months this weekend. ( Your TOT story made me chuckle. Kids can be sooo sneaky!
@kkleigh10@mandamoochie@musicgirl524@hernsy Thanks guys. Right now I think I'm entering the numb phase. I hope it's enough to keep me from breaking down at the office. I'm sure I'll be crying more once my husband gets home.
@kefttsc I'm totally agreeing with everyone. It's like the good event that will help keep everyone positive and cheerful during their rough time. @nomnomasaur0426 my DH does this all the time. I don't typically say what I'm having a hard time with as far as my body expanding, but as soon as I've been looking in the mirror for too long he will casually bring up how amazing I've been looking lately.
@erobbins09 I'm definitely trying to figure out why my back needed to grow too it was all pretty and flat before.
@mississippiwedding I hope today isn't too tough for you. Now you can take some extra time to relax and take care of that healthy baby! fx you'll find a new job that is better in every way than your last.
@beckyp005 I hope your heartburn eases up. Ouch! Sitting up definitely helps me.
@MaryS001 Halloween costumes have gotten so very elaborate thanks to Pinterest. It's like they assume we all have weeks to plan and sew a costume they'll wear once.
@lizzybean I'm starting to lose faith on it ever getting chilly enough for boots and leggings this year. 75 is not gonna cut it.
I'm still laying in bed. For the first time I slept HORRIBLE last night. I woke up drenched in sweat and my heart was racing. So I got up and drank some water to calm my body down. Then I was up every hour to pee ugh not fun. Now I'm exhausted and can't fall back asleep. Hopefully this is not a sign of how today is going to go.
Sorry you're feeling crappy. Maybe your body is telling you it didn't like your cleaning marathon yesterday? Hope you feel better soon!
So apparently my blood type is B+ (which I should have known already, but didn't for some reason). B+ is apparently the rarest blood type - only 8% of the population has it. This makes me feel really crappy for not being able to donate blood because of the good it could do. I've tried a dozen+ times, but I never pass their little screening things because of my low iron levels.
I'm B+, too, but can't donate due to an inherited condition. Totally share your disappointment.

@kkleigh10 did you hear about Mayor Menino? Sad, his health really went down quickly...
@Irishcurls - holy shit, no, I hadn't heard. Ugh your post gave me chills. Watching news footage of him leaving the hospital last week in his little suit, obviously grimacing in pain, literally made me sob. I cannot believe it happened that fast. He may have had an iron fist on the city but I lived in Dorchester for many years -- he showed up for the Dot Day parade and marched the entire route every single year. It was a gesture most politicians wouldn't have bothered to make in a neighborhood like that. He was an amazing man.
We have the radio on in the lab and they're just praising all the work he did for the LGTB community and other minorities; he really did so much for the city.

So today MIL said she'll help me sew DS's costume since my office is a mess and my sewing machine is buried. Can't wait to post a picture of it! Idk if anyone remembers, but I'm making a Kristoff costume from Frozen because it's his favorite movie. I'm sure there will be plenty of princesses around for a photo opp. Lol. DH even said he'll make cardboard cutouts for the wagon to make it look like a sled.
Thanks again everyone, it's sort of embarrassing derailing the thread and snagging all this attention, but I really appreciate the extra support from you guys.

I almost got run over by a jerkhole in the grocery store parking lot and all that frustration came out in the UO post after reading the Hospital Bill post....I also bought a shitload of candy and threw away the bags it came in so it cannot be returned despite thinking we won't get many TOT'ers on account of the weather. NOT SORRY
@dacora i am so so sorry for your loss. Any loss of anyone or anything that's a part of your everyday life is painful. I think I've cream is an excellent choice. T&Ps
Anyone wanna open the "open relationship" can of worms? I just found out a friend/acquaintance of mine is in a totally open relationship with her husband of 5 years. I am 100% unable to wrap my head around it, for what I hope the reasoning being that I just totally don't understand it (and not that i'm close-minded)
Haha. My BF doesn't love it when I go to dinner to with someone he doesn't really know...soooo yeahhh. Probably not. Not my thing either. I make it very clear to my relationship partners that even though I am bisexual, that does not open up the door for orgies!

I can understand it. I would rather come to an agreement about an open relationship, than deal with trust issues of constant infidelity. But to each his own.

@nbad311 I am pretty sure there is a group of people in my neighborhood who do key parties, or swaps at the very least. Not really my thing. Actually, I think there was someone on TN on TIP who was in an open relationship and it had started causing problems IIRC. I think they told each other everything and she was getting resentful. That was quite a bit ago though (like 4 years). I felt bad for her.

@jaztastic - I'm so pissed "most annoying poster," or whatever the category was, didn't make it to the final nomination thread. We'd have a clear winner.
How about a "I'm not a trained medical professional but I play one on The Bump!" Award???
I just appreciate those of you who go full epidural-love on that thread. Don't fearmonger someone into thinking less of themselves for what they choose is best for them. It's not like she's new to TB... We don't praise or condemn someone for a choice like that (at least in this group)... But don't act like your baseless claims are what everyone should strive for. Get me the juice.
And about open relationships... When I was with my ex we didn't really match up when it came to physical needs and I considered it because he suggested it... He saw it as an alternative to losing me (without having to personally adapt to my needs)... But that right there was the nail in the coffin for us. You do you, but ultimately telling me it's ok for me to be with other people took away everything I wanted. I get how some people can make it work... I don't judge those who make that choice... But call me crazy, I want the idea of me being with someone else to make my guy want to punch a wall. I have that now and love it. And my bearded ginger is alllll mine.

Here! Here! My SIL, who is 4 months pregnant with her 4th, knows I'm getting the juice. She takes every opportunity to smugly announce that "unlike some people she goes natural" with a smug smile on her face. She really wants a mother of the year award.

No vote is even necessary. Just give her the award now.
Woman need to get it together. No one comes around handing out medals or cash prizes for birth methods. Do whatever you want or have to do to get the kid here. At the end we all get the same results (hopefully) a sweet take home eating/crying/shitting machine.
